Quit squats and deadlifts?

i never thought id say this, infact i love to deadlift. unfortunately, i feel all im doing lately is overtraining my cns from lifting incorrectly and do not get much stimulation from 'focusing' on technique. i just feel i cant keep fighting against my body when its not in correct alignment.

as you all know i have a protruding right shoulder so its overdeveloped my right shoulder and my right pec,lat along with my entire functional back is underdeveloped. this has lead to gradual deteriation of my posture on deads creating imbalances in the hipflexors and abdominals. my sole problem with squatting is my my hip flexor and now i feel if i keep going on its gunna get just as bad as whats happened to my upper body.

sorry to drag this out too long but now what im considering doing is correcting my shoulder posture, bringing up my back and do primarily unilateral work the lower body. exercises such as one legged straight leg deads, lunges(as usual), adductor cable pull downs etc. im considering rack pulling instead of deads to maintain my grip and lowerback strength.

ive banging my head against a wall for too long. overtraining my CNS for nothing. im first and foremost a bodybuilder, so training in frequency with less cns stimulation is more important, especially on gear. that aside i love to lift heavy and strength is the reason ive made the gains i have up until this point.

i dont know where to go from here, can i have some advice? could this be a good strategy? im considering about 3-6 months break from these two lifts.

hey EMC,i hear what ya saying mate, just wonder if you keep doing dead lifts & just lighten the weight a little.Iv just been doing deads for the last 3 months and love them.

i found by lightening the weight on leg press, that now i have better technique, and i get wicked pumps.

just a suggestion.

:)
