decided to start a journal as 2011 is going to be a big year for me training wise. wont get started till mid jan going to wait till the silly season settles down and take a couple of weeks rest to let my body reset. my lofty goal is to put on around 10kg of muscle and be pushing some respectable numbers. might as well start with a bit of my background and stats etc.

im a 22yo male, currently about 80kg, 185cm @ about 11% bf. first joined a gym about 2 years ago didnt have a clue what i was doing, full on newbie styles all bicep curls and benchpress etc. running was my leg workout lol. managed to shed a fair bit of fat over a few months got down to 74kg before i had an EPIC FAIL. i decided lying flat on a bench and putting an empty olympic bar behind my head was a good idea and POP woops my shoulders dislocated can someone please call me an ambulance. it made a bit of a mess of my shoulder ended up having 2 months off work (i heart u acc) so that put me off the gym for awhile i got fat again smoked heaps of pot etc until 7 months ago i started lurking on this site, got a bit of a clue and brought myself a home setup with squat rack, bench, barbells, dumbells and 130kg of weights. started on the stronglifts 5x5 program @ 86kg. improved my diet and after a few months i was 92kg then decided to get my bf down so i basicly just cut all the carbs out of my diet apart from breakie and post workout. now im 80kg and pretty cut up. my best lifts are (5x5) atg squat 90kg, bench 82.5kg, deadlift 120kg and overhead press 47.5kg.

iv decided to achieve my goals my best option is to sell my set up, join the local gym and hopefully find a decent training partner. i have no idea what sort of program im going to do. i like the idea of a 4 day split mon tues thurs fri. if anyone has a good program for a beginner/intermediate lifter that they dont mind sharing that would be great. i think i have my eats somewhat sorted im going to start on 3000kcal a day carbs 350g, protein 200g, fat 100g and get measured every month and make adjustments as needed. not sure on what supps to take (i dont use any currently) but im prepared to spend the coin on whatever i need to get the results i want. some advice in this area would be appreciated? also id like to see a really top level strength and conditioning specialist for advice and just for piece of mind that im on the right track if anyone could recommend someone that would be great? anyways i think thats about it hopefully i havent bored everyone too much haha. ps ill post a few photos shortly so people can let me know my strengths/weaknesses and so i can look back in a year and laugh at my scrawny ass :pfft:
