Can't find a thread for the NABBA Nationals, so I'm just gonna add it in here... Just received word that Sam and Donovan from Team Powertech/Sky Fitness have just taken out Mr NZ Novice Physique and Mr NZ Novice Athletic respectively. And Sammy has been selected for the NZ team to go to Germany. Great result for the gym, and for Otago.

Yeah, it was a big show... 140-something competitors, I think. With so many competitors, there was a huge range of physiques - some very impressive, some perhaps more suited to a regional level show. :wink:

I went to the prejudging, but unfortunately I couldn't stay for the whole show. Anyway, here's a few shots of the early classes - Junior Men, Senior Physique, etc. If anyone has more photos, post 'em up!

i saw the first half of the night show and have to say i deffinately disagreed with the top 3 in the teens. a lot of competitors which is good but seemed to drag on a bit...left after 3 hrs when it was only half way through.

just goes to show that alot of people do have time for jim pitt and pete hardwick. they are good guys who do a decent job. and get slagged off by a couple of douchebags on this forum from down the line who are doing f all for the sport.

As a competitor at this show I thought it run very smoothly, lot’s of big classes that would have been very hard to judge as the standard was very good.
