UPDATE: NORTH ISLAND CHAMPIONSHIPS (24th July)

Weighed in at 91.95kg, thanks to exam stress but felt fine since I had about 10 hours of sleep the night before.

Overall, happy with how the competition went. Got new competition PRs and a crack at the Snatch record. It was nice meeting Varven and Ash at the competition, hopefully you guys enjoyed watching the lifting. Also managed to meet the OL-crew from Powerhouse gym, good lifting guys and well done. Well done to Laurie who took 2nd place in my grade, as it was a fairly close competition! I'll post the results when they come out.

Snatch attempts:

- 110 (yes)

- 116 (yes)

- 123* (no)

Clean/Jerk attempts:

- 140 (yes)

- 145** (no)

- 145** (no)

*Tried to beat the current national Junior Men record (U20) 122 Snatch, but didn't pull the bar high enough during my second pull, but it was *almost* there!

**Cleaned the bar in both attempts but failed to Jerk it. Although, during a 3rd attempt with 145, managed to drive the bar much higher than in 2nd attempt.

Pictures will be coming soon. Thanks to Varven and Ash for taking videos.

Thanks guys.

Varven, megaupload.com, rapidshare.de or what Jono posted. As long as people can download it off the website to their comp.

I still have 2 weeks of the training cycle im doing now. Once I finish that, I'll probably have some rest. Oceania starts in July, approx. 11th-12th, so in a couple of weeks and I don't even know who's going to turn up!

Made a PutFile thing and added a 110kg Snatch opener.

I think YouTube deletes the file after 7 days or something, but hey it doesn't really matter. I'm gonna be putting all videos on PutFile webpage anyhow.

You got me curious, so I went and looked it up. For the record:
