Some good info there usual suspect. I don't agree with everything you have said but hey life would be pretty boring if everyone agreed on everything :)

In relation to training at least 4 times a week, I only train 3 times a week and find this great for me in terms of growth. I have tried various other training routines over the years but have found the above best for me anyway. I plan each cycle I do but I put more thought into my diet, rest and training.

My next cycle I start in 4 weeks which will consist of

100mg of Lixus anavar ed (6 weeks)

50mg of Lixus t'bol ed (6 weeks)

1000mg of Schering testoviron ew (12 weeks)

600mg of Schering deca ew (12 weeks)

So I train 3 times a week, about an hour and a quarter each workout with 100% commitment. Over the counter pre workout supplements are a complete waste of money IMO so if I feel like I need a boost to get that 100% per cent I have a couple of vials of cheque drops I will use. :)

Over the counter pre workout supplements are a complete waste of money IMO - I disagree. Try stacking pre workout supps with your gear and using pre workout supps when you really need it when off the gear.

So you implement this type of 3 day training when your on gear or off or both? Or do you train more often than just 3 days when you do start your cycle? Can you elaborate a bit more because in terms of growth taking that much gear will of course initiate some form of growth even if you train only once a week.

Usual suspect - No have not tried Primo, have used Masteron which I think is a good and often underrated compound. Don't have any probs with appetite at all, I just eat and eat and eat

Tom - Been called a few things in the past but never lazy, but always the first time for everything ay.

Specter - If you are happy with your pre work out supps then that's sweet. If I were going to take something then it would just be a strong coffee. I have used other training routines in the past, training 5/6 days a week and got good results but picked up a few injuries, nothing serious but things that still affected my training. At the moment I am training 3 times a week on and off cycle. I am happy with how things are progressing.

why would u use that much gear and only train 3 times per week?

curious, as it sounds so silly to me.

Kinda depends on what he is training for? I mean thinking about it, some of us at some point use gear for certain advantages to enhance ourselves in differnet ways, but if this is the training pattern he has found that works for him......perhaps to the best possible advantage, then weird as it may seem to some of us....do what works for you I guess?

Yeah Tom's right on this one, there's not too many other sports that guys would need to use 2K mgs per week for. Can't imagine teamsports (other than maybe select positions in NFL), fighters, track & field athletes (maybe shotputters) using anywhere near this or the types of compounds.

Strength athletes tend to be more moderate in their gear use (generalisation) as they don't need the high dosages to hold mass while at BBer % body fat.

As we know Hone is (or was) a BBer, so going back to Tom's question "why only train 3 days on that cycle"?

AAS allow quicker recovery, therefore more volume/sessions per week are viable IMHO. 5-6 days per week would probably allow Hone to progress faster based on the assumption that mass increases are purely a product of training sessions & the recovery & rebuilding of muscle tissue associated.

However what we don't usually consider is the individual & how their lifestyle impacts on growth. If Hone is working a 50hr week job or a physical job, or has sleep issues, he may be better off training only three days per week. If however he's at home playing playsation & eating fish n chips I'd agree with Tom's lazy call! :pfft:

At the end of the day if Hone is making constant progress with 3 days a week why change it (but it would have to be reasonable progress with 2K + of gear & 4 compounds! ).

Just my 10 cents!

I think if you haven't done you should atleast give it a go first. I have trained both daily on cycle and used only 3 out 7 day routine on cycle. for me its a different effect - I found my strength levels were 100% on the majors training 3 days (fully rested). Muscle bellies were maxed out so always looked extremely full. Also could sleep better on 3 days which is always an advantage when gaiing lean mass.

You can easily get sucked into training one way due to the status quo - but you learn a lot more and dispel a lot of the bs when to experiment and think out side the square.

Does seem like a lot of gear in anycase ... i'm sure you know what your doing Hone - keen to here how the results go - will you run a journal at all?

LOL - I'm training 2 days per week, no need to convince me! :pfft:

hahaha ... chest and biceps I bet! (cable cross over :shifty:  )

Nooooooo! 2 day split, strength focus with some volume. Other two days are BJJ rolling for an hour. Maybe with Hone's stack I could train 4 days weights and 3 days BJJ! :pfft:

Haaaa! Hone see you are still fucking around with that shit pharma gear. You need to get back to NZ & get some good quality UG Lab gear into you then ya not have to use so much :pfft: I known of several lifters who have radically pulled back on their training days similar to you & swear by it for growth & strength. I would suspect most of these are long term older lifters. Often thought about it my self but have only brought it back to 4 days & still occassionally go 5 days. Whats your stats looking like these days? Hope ya all good, Cheers, mnz

I'm good mnz, shit pharma gear, that's where I'm going wrong  Haven't been on the forum for a while got pissed off with PM's asking for gear and idiots sprouting their bullshit bro science. Thought I would drop in and have a look and make a post, bugger me it's turned into the debate of the year, mind you the year is not very old so I'm sure something more exciting will come along. I'm back up to my weight (around 106 kilos) before I got crook so now the fun times start :) Eating heaps of good basic growing food.

I will elaborate alittle as Spector requested. I work night shift so aware that this in it's self is pretty taxing on the body. I'm in my forties now so no longer a spring chicken :( As I said in the past I have done 4, 5,6 day training routines. At the moment 3 times a week is good for me. If I feel that I need to change things at some stage I will.

I don't consider this cycle to be large, guys over here are doing 3-4 grams of test a week plus stuff like HGH. Some of the guys at my gym are from Eastern Europe and the amount of gear they take is scary, even for me. They have a completely different mindset to the average Kiwi guy. Mind you the cost of gear here is peanuts compared to what you pay in NZ plus it is legal to use it over here.

I went and watched the Mr Universe competition which was held recently here in the UK, some of the guys from Eastern Europe and other places like Brazil were monsters. They would hold there own on the Mr Olympia stage.

I will be doing a couple of Big cycles later on this year/2012, I will be getting advice on my diet as I will probably have to be consuming 5000 to 7000 calories a day to take advantage of the amount of gear, otherwise it's just wasting the gear.

Will I do a journal here no probably not, really can't be bothered with all the bull shit comments that seem to plague this forum from certain members. Hope everyones training goes well for 2011.

Nicely said mate, on the topic of 'large doses of gear' i think ALOT of people downplay how much gear they use. After speaking with a few pros (deano samwelly LOL) seriously tho it becomes clear that most of the big units getting round aren't just using 750 test 400 deca lol. From what i have heard 3-4 grams for higher level athletes is standard. Be ineresting to hear other opinions on this one

have u guys seen ppls blood results from using 1000mg of test pw and a few other goodies over a moderate time period? they aint very good cholesterol levels etc.... using 3000-4000mg of test pw (plus everything else) is stupidity at the highest level.... not dedication its just stupid lol
