Hi there fellas,

My name is Monish and thought i just introduce myself to this wicked forum

Ive been working out for a year and a half now at a local gym in lower hutt 4-5 days a week. I weigh around 60kgs and 5ft 9 tall. Currently a student and working part time with the family business.

I joined this forum to mostly seek advice regarding supplements (my diet) and to view members routines on how they work out and effective ways off doing this and that.

So far what i can do:

Bench-press 100kg (usually start build up from 10reps 40 to 10reps 60 to 8 reps 80 then lastly 5reps 100)

Im pretty bad with what the term or what the techniques/excerises are called.

Dumb bell bench press?? 32kgs per hand (3 sets of 10 reps)

And various other exercises mostly concentrated on power lifting and bodybuilding.......

Right coming to supplements,....... i dont take any lol. I used to take USP Labs Pre workout creatine and mutant mass protein that was about 3-4 months ago. I definitely felt the Creatine boost my confidence big time but ive seen some off the other boys at the gym taking some sort of a drink during their workout perhaps this could be an alternative or should i stick to the the prework out stuff?

Being only 60kgs i need to gain weight asap as i think im lacking in this department, my upper body is ''cut'' as anything but i dont seem to gain weight at all. I eat three - four times a day.

What would be the IDEAL supplements suited for me. Where should i purchase them from? shotgun?

Any suggestion or help would be most appreciated

Hi Monish. Welcome to the forums.

I don't think you need to take any supplements other than a basic protein powder at this stage. If you're having trouble gaining weight, it's because you're not eating enough. You need to increase your meals - try getting 6 a day instead of 3.

You might find our Bodybuilding for Beginners articles helpful, too.

Good luck!
