session 2 of 3 pool session

did an hour in the pool aerobic capacity is dead use to be a regional level swimmer back in the day, all this endurance stuff is bs. I dont know if Ive mentioned it in here yet but im beginning recruitment for the police and I need to get into "shape" for the testing.

You'll probably find that if the weight comes down a little more that it'll be easier on ya

Good luck though, a few of my mates did it all and passed and are still on the waiting list, maybe another year before they're brought in, although that's down this way, Auckland is always looking for more cops

Yup I live in the hood and im tangatawhenua :lol: :grin: so I get shortlisted, should take me 6-8months to be in peak condition

Ill need: BW=95KG, 2.4km run=10mins, 50+pushups and 50m freestyle 30s

Anyway all thats set in motion session 3 of 3

Oly squat- up to 140x1, then 120x1x8

Power jerk- 80x1x5

Fun day absolutley love training. Hibar squats felt good hit 140 no belt with more in the tank but dont want to do any grinders I think that might be a raw HBBS pb not sure. OH work is feeling great on track for a BW press in the future

Ah missed this! looking for the last intake of 2011 first of 2012 but apparently the recruitment process can be a bitch not to on to it those fullas.

Front squats up to 110, 80x3x4

powerclean ss strict press 70x3, 50x3 maybe 5 or 6sets?

low energy today happy to hit a BW front squat next goal 120 then onto 3plates. Training this week, want to get in 3weights, 2 met con, 2 swims, 2 runs

got a txt from the boys saying come to the park for crkt. I thought hey why not cricket would be nice to break up the study. Turns out hes retarded and he meant circuit. So we did

500m then a circuit (sprint in between each exercise) pushups,situps,squats,burpees,pushups,jacknifes x2 finished up with 500m run

over all ran about 2ks again tonight
