This comps looking huge!

Some big weights likely to move on 20 Nov in Wellington - you'll probably feel this as another aftershock if you live in Christchurch!

Nickoli & Wookie are heading down from Auckland to spot the boys and I'm looking likely to be the platform manager (top 2" inches lads, barking orders is easier than loading plates for 50+ lifters! ).

Will be good to see how the Aussie lifters & the Eastside guys n gals go as well, as the results are compared for the virtual comp known as the Bledisbro! Go the Kiws!

Wait, is that actually Rodney Hide the MP? I didn't even know he lifted.

Confirmed.

There are some video's of him in the Powerhouse Thread.

I also see some other surprise entries there - top NZL PLers Phil Townley, Reuben Simanu, the Niue Commonwealth Weightlifting rep Danny Nemani, Aucklands Strongest Man Dale Shepherd, and Bayasa who competed in the Asian Games. Also see Troy listed in the entries - looks like at least 2 lifters & two loaders heading down from Auckland!

Looks like an awesome field - probably the best ever seen in a regional PLing comp in the last 15 years - the SHW's look solid (awesome as this has been lacking a bit lately).

If you can make it I'd get there!!!
