Ive only been in comp tested, was suppose to be "random" but one of the handlers hinted it could of been due to pre lift rituals :pfft:

I think woodes has been blacklisted of sorts, I guess thats what happens when you talk shit and claim to be the saviour of newzealand powerlifting  Dont think they would bother testing nobodies but one more dick out of the system aint a bad thing.

Ive lost count of the number of times I have been tested although I know of a good friend of mine that was tested 4 times in two weeks...and that included one blood test (they all came out negative).

As an active lifter and proud member of the NZPF I was gutted when I heard about this positive test. This case (along with other very recent positive results) has infuriated me because I see them as a delibrate act without the thought of consequence, in other words these guys didnt care. It tarnishes the sport at so many levels - image, national funding, sponsorship, IOC acceptance etc.

If you're loaded on AAS/PEDs, alarm bells should start ringing when you join up the NZPF because there are four forms that you need to sign. You sign a provincial membership form, the NZPF membership form, the NZPF code of conduct form and a NZDrugFree declaration form and on there it states testing is conducted at meets as well as outside of meets...to think that you might slip through the cracks avoiding a test is just wishful thinking. NZDF play a big part at all our competitions regardless of whether they are a provincial, national or international...and then there are the out of meet tests where they come around to your house!

Woodes in my opinion deserved the maximum term of four years (or lifetime) but the NZDF were lenient being a first time offender. I doubt he will ever be allowed back into the NZPF but I ask the question, if he isnt allowed to powerlift, what sport is next on his agenda?

Before every NZFBB comp you have to sign a very similar form. However the only test I ever see around there is Sustanon 250 :pfft:

It would be good to see an untested federation. Because at the moment there isn't really any options other than gym lifts for guys who use.

how much test per week would he be running to get that reading ?

Unsure, maybe MuscleNZ could comment.

From my limited understanding:

* he definately had Methandienone (Dianabol), Oxymethalone (Anadrol50, Anapolan), & a Nandrolone (probably "Deca").

* Methyl-Test likely to be the oral drug rather than a breakdown of some other compound?

* To get his Test levels that high in relation to his Epitest he must've been using a shitload of test (more likely injectable than oral if he had a liver left!Probably some ester rather than Test suspension - Propionate, Enanthate or Sustanon250 most likely in NZL).

* Oxymesterone is one I've never heard of?

Oranabol aka oxymesterone is a old school steroid european steroid and never was a precription drug in the US, i dont know how this guy got hold of it as it has been stopped a while ago, its more of a precontest/hardner drug, not much of a bulking one.

peace

As I said, T... he's welcome to come try some Jiu Jitsu...

Well I spose if he did take you up on that offer it would remove any question regarding his sanity.

Though I figure the fact he was pumping that much shit into his system all for a gigantic weight of 80kgs already proved the condition of his mental health.
