As a wise man once said (you actually now i think about it)

embrace the CARBS

Haha, oh and rather than confuse Steak & Oldfella with the maths i have attached a pic of what the days diet looks like to make it a little easier on the Brain

Just went in today for my 5th spec check since starting my bulk. With pleasing results after last week  . Being that was exactly four weeks since i have started i also got all of my measurements done for comparison.

I have decided that rather than getting checked everyweek from here on i am just going to get checked every second week & get my measurements done every 4 weeks now that i have a bit of a handle on what is going on with my diet.

14/10/2010 74.26kg @ 7.7% (Lean Body Mass 68.54kg FAT 5.72kg)

22/10/2010 79.90kg @ 9.1% (Lean Body Mass 72.62kg FAT 7.28kg)

29/10/2010 82.66kg @ 9.3% (Lean Body Mass 74.97kg FAT 7.67kg)

05/11/2010 84.50kg @ 11.4% (Lean Body Mass 74.86kg FAT 9.64kg)

& today 86.06kg @ 10.2% (Lean Body Mass 77.28kg FAT 8.78kg

Here is all of my measurements from 4 weeks ago & then on the right of them in bold all of my measurements from today. Most of the size being in the correct area's

Chest 41" 43.5"

Waist 32.5" 35.5"

Shoulders 43.75" 46"

Hips 36.5" 39.5"

Calf 15.5" L 15.25" R 16.25" L 16" R

Thigh 23.25" L 23.25" R 25.25" L 25" R

Arms 14.25" L 14" R 15.25" L 15.25" R

Forearms 11.5" L 11.25" R 12" L 11.75" R

Neck 14.5" 15.5"

So basically i am just going to keep trucking along with the same diet & training for the next couple of weeks to see where i am at body fat % wise before making any more modification to what i am doing.

Let the 5th week of caloric surplus begin :rockout:

Big eats, intense training & alot of :toilet:

thanks mate  bout time you come up to coast bar bell again for some GPP isn't it !

Wicked gains mate, keep it up. Muscles just soaking it up

after being deprived for so long aye

Thanks man, yes it was definatly the case. I put on like 6kg in the first day(water mostly i would guess). 74kg - 80kg. But that was going from 50g carb a day to 500g overnight. 10 days carbs in one day .

Well done bob, looking real good. Muscles are taking good shape.

Thanks man, going to work as hard as i can to get some good photos up here in 7 weeks time when i go back to a maintaince diet. Cheers for the encouragement.

Thanks heaps man, i would have to say i feel that Strategic carb loading is where it is at :pfft:

Like i have been having fruit salad (shit that was tanias breakfast  ) with my cottage cheese at night :pfft: think the simple carbs help with the protein absorption  or on the other hand just taste real good

I think that Carbs will probably be going from 500g a day to maybe 600g a day about next friday. Can't wait man, starting to get a real taste for them. Lol.

Just went in for another spec check yesterday to see how things are going.

14/10/2010 74.26kg @ 7.7% (Lean Body Mass 68.54kg FAT 5.72kg)

22/10/2010 79.90kg @ 9.1% (Lean Body Mass 72.62kg FAT 7.28kg)

29/10/2010 82.66kg @ 9.3% (Lean Body Mass 74.97kg FAT 7.67kg)

05/11/2010 84.50kg @ 11.4% (Lean Body Mass 74.86kg FAT 9.64kg)

12/11/2010 86.06kg @ 10.2% (Lean Body Mass 77.28kg FAT 8.78kg)

& today 90.22kg @ 12.2% (Lean Body Mass 79.21kg FAT 11.01kg)

Pretty happy with my results so far.

My diet for the last week has been slightly higher in carbs with no change to any of my other macros than what i have been doing which will explain some of the extra fat gain but the reason i added them was because i was still friggin hungry

so for the last week it has been

5220kcal

518.6g protein

574.1g carb

101.8g fat

what i am doing to try & curb the fat gain i am getting is now that i have got my carbs up that high is pull my protein back a little (having 700g of chicken breast during the day instead of 900g).

which is going to make my diet i am following for the next 2 weeks

5000kcal

472.6g protein 37%

574.1g carb 46%

96.8g fat 17%

Let the 7th week of caloric surplus begin :rockout:
