There is actually a fair bit in the DL that you can improve. I took 18 months or more to 'rebuild' mine before having it habitual so I could just grip & rip.

Happy to explain what I learnt (alongside Nickoli) in another thread if anyones keen - if so start a thread?

Holy s**t, go to the gym and when I get back this thread is on fire hahaha.

Thanks guys for all your input, I think my deads have 1 main problem, and that is Im to f#*kn scared im gonna re-injure my back. So I try to make sure i have the straightest back possible for each rep.

To tell you the truth im not sure what my 1rep max is, Im always worried of going for it cause of my back!!!!! But can get 10reps at 140kg (with the last 2 not the best form). Just need to harden up and do it I guess.
