Week 7, Day 1 (16.11.2010)

Squats - Raw

1 x 3 x 40KGs

1 x 3 x 50KGs

1 x 3 x 60KGs

w wraps/w commands

1 x 3 x 70KGs

4 x 2 x 80KGs

Bench - Medium Grip

1 x 3 x 30KGs

1 x 3 x 35KGs

1 x 3 x 40KGs

2 x 3 x 45KGs

3 x 1 x 50KGs/w commands

Bench/2 board - Close Grip

2 x 3 x 50KGs

DB Flys

3 x 10 x 10lb

1 week 4 days untill comp.. :grin:

Uh a few seconds with the pause.. I have footage so you can see if you must :nod: And the start/rack commands were just usual, aww but I hold it at the end for a bit longer just to be safe! You better be training with mean commands .... :)

abit hard when im traingin by myself, but i do all the commands in my head and they are usually extended by afew more seconds,

usally for squats its 3-5seconds after ive give myself the mental cue to squat and my legs are locked out tight (i dont wanna bellow out SQUAT and look like a utter tard doing it :pfft: )

bench 2-3 pause on chest, but sometimes 3-5 as thats usually enables better leg drive for me esp when im tired

Haha if anyone looks at you funny just say "I'm a Powerlifter.. F*** off!!" :lol: I would love to come to your gym and see how they would react to all the swearing/chalk flying everywhere etc. ... Real Powerlifter style!! :wink:

Was talking to dad about the Weight Classes being changed.. Don't know wether it's a good thing or not?

1 WEEK off comp.. Hopefully I get over the flu before Friday, really nervous but can't wait to see if I've made some more gains. :grin:

Had some Noodle Canteen last night, woke up this morning feeling sick, went to work for 4hours.. Trained and then threw up out of dad's car on the side of the road on our way home. NOT GOOD! :x :disgusted:

Thanks VP, are u coming down? It will be good to have all that support :grin: Starting to think about my openers etc. All I wanna do it smash that damn 100KG Squat that I have been sitting on for so long! Worried more about bench though and just gunna give my deadlift everything that I can!! :nod:

Relax mate It'll be good, openers should be easy mate something you can do 3 reps with your dad will see you right doesn't matter what you open on just get on the grid (people make big mistakes by starting to heavy remember that one Pity tip of the day) its what you finish with that counts :wink:

Would of loved to come down but will have to catch up with you at xmas party all the best and smash some tin with good form

Xmas party should be a good one, heaps of people are keen to do the deadlift challenge! Yeah that's why I'm thinking about openers but nothings set in stone, I will just see how I feel on the day! I have been repping 85KGs for 4 or 5 sets in the gym so feel confident about the 90KG opener! I'm just glad that Dad and Tonka will be there cause you can't really go wrong with those too :) Yeah I'm just give my last lifts everything that I have :nod:

You're in good hands PB - I trusted Steak's advice thru Sheiko and blew away a bench plateau I'd been stuck on.

So add on a rowdy support crew and that game-day atmosphere and I reckon you'll blitz 'em.

Just stay away from te dodgy noodles 'til then, eh! :grin:

Yeah well my 3rd lift on Bench at my last comp was 37.5KGs since then (2 and 1/2 months ago) I have got up to 52.5KGs and that's cause of Dad. Haha I think you could take one member of the CBC Crew and they would still be louder than the rest! :lol: I'll be running on a high that's for sure! :P Haha never again will I trust that grezy food :pfft:

like you said, weve been diggin it deep the last 2 months. taken to the edge of our sanity with nawt but a tiny thread. then BOOM boris brings you back into safety. itll be a awsome day for the crew!
