Must have been frustrating gear night at CBC huh

neg....we were reminded that you cannot tame the beast in 1 or 2 sessions, nor will you win every time. It can be a long hard road....but you will prevail eventually and ultimately....

crush your enemies, see them driven before you, hear the lamentation of the woman.

Off to the chiropractor this week, don't know if it's a smart idea to test 8 & 1/2 weeks from Auckland Champs - and March Novice with a very sore shoulder? It's very swollen..

Hopefully nothing major PB :(

Rest and rehab don't test ...you don't need to as you've squatted, benched and dead lifted your max very recently....having the week off will do you good.

If you continue to push it with an injury it will get worse and you don't want to be sitting on the benches come March. But you know this

Jeez I'm beginning to sound like your mother :pfft:

Yeah thought it would be algood by now - but not so sure anymore! Been icing/rollering and putting deep heat on it for 2 weeks now and seems to be getting worse. 4 weeks until the March novice and haven't even started training for it - getting abit nervous now.

did you end up seeing a chiro/doc etc?

Going today at 1pm, just going there to find out what's wrong with it, don't really care whether he says to rest or not - only have 7 weeks to groove my suit that I only just got 135kg to depth

Went to the Osteopath today - he said that my shoulder is very damaged, used lots of big words, all I could really understand is that my bicep tendon is damaged, the thing that my bicep tender is connected to is damaged and then my AC joint is also damaged! My muscles are all tensed up trying to protect what ever has happened to my shoulder - so I am off to get a x-ray and ultrasound on Tuesday then back off to Osteopath on Thursday. It has improved since it only hurts when it's pressed on now so back to training on Monday!!
