Pitbull

Strong young lady! Why do they call you pitbull?

Thanks. It started 2 years ago, first PL comp I did, stared the bar down, got aggressive with it. Smashed my lifts and gained the nickname pitbull. Haven't been able to live it down since so I now just embrace it :)

My brand new squat suit arrived to, and even though I'm in week 6 of an 8 week raw cycle, I was not going to just look at it for 3 weeks. Only just got depth but a very good start to a big year.. Bring on Auckland Champs!

Last time I looked at your journal you were just starting to get back into it and now you're lifting weights like that!! I'm shocked haha :shock:

Sled:

Tyre Hits: 4 x 20 (alternating)

Seated DB Shoulder Press: 5 x 8 x 8kgs, 1 x 20 x 8kgs

Standing Overhead Press: 6 x 8 x 22.5kgs

DB Rows: 8 x 6 x 20kgs

DB Bicep Curls: 6 x 6 x 8kgs

Concentration Curls: 4 x 8 x 10lbs

Tricep Pressdowns: 5 x 10 x 35kgs

Hanging Leg Raises: 10 x 10

Now off to walk around my street selling raffle tickets to help support our 2012 Female Powerlifting Team.

25.01.2012 - Day 2, Week 7

Bench:

Deadlift:

tried super centurion on backwards

1 x 1 x 80kgs

1 x 1 x 100kgs

1 x 1 x 120kgs

2 x 1 x 130kgs (missed both on lockout, couldn't quite get the technique right)

DB Flys: 4 x 8 x 5lbs

Goodmornings: 4 x 5 x 22.5kgs

I think after walking around all day selling raffle tickets in the hot sun and not eating enough carbs/calories resulted in my deadlifts being SHOCKING tonight, through a few hissy fits but it's in the past now and my focus is now on my 300kg Raw total at week 8 test day next friday :grin:
