Competition Results:

Weigh in at 9.05am - 60.1KGs, so that put me in the under 67.5KG class...

Squat

Opener: 85KGs (3 Whites)

2nd Attempt: 95KGs - (Missed because I rushed my set up)

3rd Attempt: 95KGs (3 Whites)

Bench

Opener: 45KGs (3 Whites)

2nd Attempt: 50KGs (2 Whites)

3rd Attempt: 55KGs - (Missed)

Deadlift

Opener: 105KGs (3 Whites)

2nd Attempt: 115KGs (3 Whites)

3rd Attempt: 125KGs (3 Whites - PB and over twice bodyweight!!)

Total: 270KGs

- All lifts done raw

It was an awesome day, awesome effort from everybody.. Heaps of support. Didn't make the weight class that I wanted to but I won my weight class anyway! Happy with my total and my lifts. Not too worried about missing a bench and squat cause you have to miss some to gain some! GPP for the next week or so, then on to Power Building untill we go into a 8 weeker for Auckland Champs next year

ZOMG - would you just LOOK at those numbers!

Squatting 150% bw, deadlifting 200% bw, and a win as well

Awesome result, well done! :notworthy:

Haha thanks. It was an awesome day and I am really happy with my results. There were some HUGE numbers being pulled and lots of PB's.. Can't wait to get equiped and see how that goes...

I think that the double bodyweight deadlift is catching up with me now.. Feeling completly drained, and feel like I have been hit by a bus.. But cannot wait till I am over this 'sickness' and back into training. I am going crazy not doing anything and it's only been 2 days

the official term for that is - cns rootage!

means you did good!

Yeah well CNS rootage + chest infection + torn ligament = screwed!

Went to Physio today and they reckon that I have torn my ligament that supports my spine, have no idea what the hell is gunna fix it but they reckon it can take between 6weeks - 1year to fix. No a happy person today :(

At the moment I am going to try and recover as fast as I can from this tear.. But after that mum and I will start training for Auckland Champs 2011. Then hopefully I will qualify for Nationals, once I hit Nationals I will just wait to see what happens. It would be absolutly amazing if Powerlifting took me further, but I wanna take one Competition at a time and not get too ahead of myself, which is hard with a dad like mine cause he's already planning years and years ahead
