ChCh Bodybuilding Training Partner?

PDY

Recommended Posts

hey guys,

Training has been coming along really well, and subsequently I have pondered on keeping my eye out for a quality training partner, so thought this could be a good place to ask?

I've been in the field for almost 4 years, experienced lifter/bodybuilder/Personal Trainer

I follow a lot of the professional side of natural bodybuilding in the states and will be looking to compete within the natural organisations at some stage in the future.

current strongest lift is the deadlift at 400lbs (180kg) for 6 at a current bodyweight of 200lbs around 7-9% bodyfat (88kg)

I currently train at cityfitness christchurch city (moorehouse ave block) at 5.30am or 6am start for a one hour session. My sessions revolve around powerlifting and hypertrophy, currently just came off an 8 week powerlifting cycle, and will be moving into a PHAT session, (power hypertrophy adaptive training) for the next 8-12 weeks. - The sessions are intense, heavy and there for progression and results.

If anyone is interested in catching up for a lift, let me know - happy to accommodate a dedicated lifter with similar experience/lifting stats

Hey Mike - Thanks for replying

happy to catch up when you arrive see if there's a fit?

as for personal training - you're looking at courses? There's NZIS (nz institute of sport) MAX (max college of fitness) and the CHCH Polytech course. i think that's the only 3 in chch, i could be wrong.. - really just depends what sort of education you want, if you're looking for an moderately indepth course perhaps NZIS or CHCH poly, if you just want your papers and to get done quick MAX could be the go with their 8 week course.. I learnt the most from learning from other Personal trainers, gurus in the industry, and then applying that to practical work on myself (you are always the best test subject lol)

hope that helps

Hey PDY im also looking for a training partner would be great to catch up for a sesh. just send me a private message and we can arrange it :D

thanks for the offer luigi, however I took a look at your journal and found you're assisted - I have nothing against people who choose to use anabolic substances, I just prefer to train with someone who's 100% drug free, again thanks for the offer.

I missed that part. Can kind of understand your stance on being involved/training with enhanced bodybuilders.

Although it won't affect you being natural it probably is not the best look?

forgive my bold statement - not meant to offend anyone :D ....

"THE BEST BODY BUILDERS IN THE WORLD USE AAS"

why wouldn't you want to tap into their experience. Are you saying if Jay Cutler offered to let you train with him for a week you would send him home to ponder is sinful ways?

Just because you manipulate your test levels doesn't make you an instant "Douche Nozzle".

The best thing about training with guys tha are on cycle when you are not, is out lifting them during the session. It's a great way to benchmark your strength in my opinion.

... another bold statement ....

"IN MANY WAYS A BBUILDER WHO HAS USED AAS, EFFECTIVELY, KNOWS MORE ABOUT TRAINING AND HOW YOU CAN IMPROVE A PHYSIQUE - NATURALLY"

(insert mouth guard and don crash helmet) :pfft:

this guys not going to be outlifting anybody

its all good, i understand. your looking to train with someone smaller and weaker than you so you can feel like the BIG MAN in the gym. good luck in your search.

LOL. Maybe if he put his ego aside he could learn a thing or 2 from someone stronger and more experienced.

this is obviously a touchy subject amongst these guys - a final message to the abusive ones here: it's okay, I understand that looking in the mirror and seeing a skinny guy staring back at you can be hard even when you weigh 300lbs however, if you feel the need to abuse people on an internet board to make yourself feel better about being so ticked off with yourself on how big/small you are than that's your business - i really couldn't care less what personal deep seeded issues led you to the point of abusing drugs for your own self perpetuating personal gain. If you have issues, see a counselor... or yell abuse back at yourself on a forum board - who cares. lol

lmao If your natural and want to stay that way then that is awesome for you but turning away opportunities to train with someone bigger stronger faster fitter leaner because of AAS use is ridiculous I would love to train with big juiced monsters on a daily basis PDY you are the one who will get the benefit of training with the stronger guy not the AAS user who has to take wheels off every time its your set.

"IN MANY WAYS A BBUILDER WHO HAS USED AAS, EFFECTIVELY, KNOWS MORE ABOUT TRAINING AND HOW YOU CAN IMPROVE A PHYSIQUE - NATURALLY"

Totally agree with this statement as optimas did say"effectively" meaning they utilized the food, nutrition, training, sleep, rest to maximize gains and to keep them WOW.....and PDY thought it was a jab in the arse makes you an ass :pfft:

Seriously though I hope no newbee hasn't looked at this thread. Thanks to Nick they may be put off by training with some enhanced guys.

To recap for anybody who is thinking of NOT training with enhanced guys after reading this. TRAIN!! watch these boys ask questions and join in if able. It will teach you to get your head space wright for lifting some good tin and you will learn allot. Just because your training with them doesn't mean you have to take the stuff yourself.
