Just updating my journal for later references, BW had dropped to 95, i ahvent started cutting yet but there is a legitimate reason for the drop.

I think i will definitaly try to hold the weight for a while before cutting as suggested my jono etc.

Well today is the first time in ages that i havent cracked a single PB in a session. Everything felt heavy today, chest wasnt too bad, triceps really seemed below par. Just didnt have the stamina to pump out the reps.

That weight and with good form is just incredible. I know you dont like pics, cant blame you there. But how about getting the tape measure out and giving us a few stats?

The problem with measurements is they dont really mean much without knowing BF levels, i can only estimate that im around 20+%

I went and bought some calippers and a chart that goes with them supposed to be really accurate BF 18% at the moment. useful tool

Well im glad to see my back / bi work is still on par with previous workouts. Lat pulldowns were good, bb rows felt really good. DB rows took alot out of me, they always get the blood pumping for some reason. Biceps didnt show improvement but didnt fall from previous workouts, prechers were very heavy, weight is now 94kg.

Yeah thanks guys, i was feeling quite sick after the 1 arm rows, but i made sure to keep form good, pretty much parralel to the ground and just concentrated on not twisting my torso on each rep.

Now i remember why i used to do them so much :grin:

Re the calipers, id by off bb.com but the shipping would really kill any benifit of cheap products unless it some kind of bulk buy, if anyone knows of good local sellers then please let me know.

Also i have decided to drop fridays workout and have a rest day on wednesdays, hopefully that will give me a bit more time to recover then i can work legs hard on thursays and shoulders fridays. The friday workout was alright but since ive stopped it ive noticed less tendonitus.

Well i decided to mix up the leg routine a bit today. First up were squats, some good progress here, two sets of 140, my back didnt seem to give me too much stress today. Decided to go with 20 rep squats for a change instead of leg presses. I must say i loved them, not much weight as you can see but it was my first time attempting them so i will start out low and work my way up each week. I hope this will help bring up my squats the same as 20 rep LP brought up my regular LP. Also dropped lying leg curls and went with sldl. Havent done these before either so it was a new experience for me, i like these alot too, i think they will work my hams better than the leg curls. Standing calf raises were good, went up in wieght again, i went to rack it after the 8th rep and couldnt get it high enough for the usual pin so i had to crouch a bit and use the lower pin, felt an odd twinge in my upper back, hopefully nothing serious. I think ill have to look at an alternative as going that heavy is killing my back.

I'm probably going to publish my emails to bb.com soon. Then you can make up your own mind...

Be careful when buying calipers. Some are worse than useless.

I got mine (brandname SlimGuide) from a place in South Auckland, and I think they're supposed to be pretty good. I'll see if I can remember the company.
