In a few forums it is calves that people seem to be upset with thier genetics.

That's for sure - I've had reasonable success with most of my bodyparts over the years but my calves are unresponsive to say the least. Then on the other hand, a friend of mine from high school had giant calves from hell and he'd never been near a gym in his life. :?

Oh well - we only get to play the hand that's dealt to us I guess.

everything looking heavy man. mayb you shouldnt be shrugging that heavy if you spine is being crushed

Yeah my back is giving me a bit of grief at the moment, i once went to a chiro for about a month, made a really big difference, but it was killer expensive, i should really still be going but i pulled the plug because of the cash.

Dont have much of a choice really, i could pull 180s all day for 8+ reps so i have no option but to increase the weight.

Very inspiring bro, keep it up.

Jono, when I goto the chiro it costs me $34-40 a session. That's out in Porirua. You usually are recommended to have a few sessions tho so it adds up. Be prepared to feel like crap the day after your first :pfft:

Mine was about the same price as that quoted above, i claimed acc though and got a little bit more off. But yeah you dont get fixed in one session, its a long term commitment, i had about 3 different vertabrae that needed work, i would lay on a special chair with these angled blocks placed strategicly under my hips, id wait about 10 mins and he would come back in and id breath out then he would push down hard and sharply on my lower back, it would click then id lay on my side on a bench, one leg was bent and he would sharply thrust it down, another click and then id sit in a chair and he would do a monuvere on my head like how they break necks in movies, another click.

It was the same everytime, i asked if i could still lift weights and he said not to work my back for 2 days after the session.

I think it worked to some degree though, i was really getting less lower back pain. I used to not be able to was the dishes without my lower back killing me, now it never hurts.

I would definatly keep it up if i had the cash.

Decided to change chest / tri day a bit. Chest weights had been stagnent for a while so i switched inclines to first and dbs second. Also decided to drop a db weight to get more reps in. Added db flyes. Chest workout was pretty good, new incline pb and db flye pb. Skulls and CG bench are back in, skulls were average, i could tell i hadnt done them for a while. Did cgs in a smith, i find for some reason this way really gives my tris a pump, but i didnt really like it that much so ill do it free next time, ive been pinned under 80 or so heaps anyway and its pretty easy to get out of.

nice work man. almost as good cg as mine

Yeah i was very disapointed with the CGs, i wont be doing them in the smith again i dont think, although it does give the tris a really nice pump it felt a bit wierd, look for a big increase next week mate (i hope)

110kg for inclines? Damn - you're making some really good progress.

Same as your shrugs, it's not often that I see someone moving more than 2x20kg plates a side on incline press.

Thanks man, progress on inclines i usually pretty slow for me because i dont have a spotter, its one thing to get pinned on a flat bench but another to get pinned on the incline.

Mixed bag today. As usual arnold press and mil press wernt upto it, i had to use the same db as i did in my second set, no way i was going to get 36s up. Mil press was the same as last week. Upright rows improved, as did front raises, sides were okay, no improvement though. Only did 2 set per raise. Shrugs increased again, i promised myself i wouldnt do 220 this week because of the back pain it caused me last week but i couldnt resist. Im sure i come out of the gym about an inch shorter after doing shrugs :?
