Good back workout, decided to leave the biceps a bit and do a bicep/tricep workout on friday after LEGS tommorow. On the subject of legs i have been doing bb squats in my back yard as i have a bb and some weights, been doing it 3 times a week to try to get into it a bit more.

I imagine it would smart a luttle, they are steel those cables so there should not be a big problem. I am starting to max out on a few of those cable machines it is really annoying they dont put more weight on

Yeah i have heard a story of this happening, the guy didnt get hit in the face by the cable and the cable itself didnt snap, but something connected to the cable broke. Yeah it seems stupid they dont put extra plates on as there is so much room, however i guess the machines are only designed to handle a certain amount of weight.

A short workout today, had to quickly try to squeeze as much in as possible because i had little time. Decided to go heavy with the squats today, im already feeling it in the legs.

A short workout today, had to quickly try to squeeze as much in as possible because i had little time. Decided to go heavy with the squats today, im already feeling it in the legs.

very nice squats man.. ur crazzy strong considering you havnt even been drilling on ur squat for months yet lol. yeah after a hard leg workout normally 1-2 hrs after the legs feel really weak.. its an effort to walk up stairs etc

Oh mate i was feeling it almost straight away, went to town and had trouble just getting out of the car. I think leg press carries the leg strength a bit, its obviously not the same as squats but i think its more a matter of the stabilizer muscles comming up to par. I used to leg press just over 400kg so i guess thats mainly where my leg strength comes from. I must say i would rather do squats though, doing them every other day in my back yard has really helped. Quad definition seems to have improved alot, cant see much through my thick leg hairs though :?

big weight after little to no leg work for so long, it will be good to see where you go from here, and when you really get going

Yeah i was surprised too, like just last week i think i jumped back on the legpress for the first time in ages and still managed 8pps for 6 or 8. I aint complaining though :)

Yeah mate, im lifting the heaviest weights i have lifted in my entire life, now that im at that stage i try to beat them every workout, it seems to be working so far.

Just on the injuries, picked up some glucosamine/chondroiten/msm the other day, hopefully in a few weeks ill start feeling the benefits.

How close is your "close grip bench" ? Good stuff as usual on the pbs but we kind of expect that from you now!

I grip both hands on the smooth part of the bar, right up against the middle knurled part. Alought i think this is too close, some people say close grip is just outside your torso but ive always gripped very close. Thanks mate, i think this spout of pbs is due to the fact that bis and tris were not pre-exhausted...

Yeah havent really gotten into this exercise yet, only the second time around for ages. Hopefully it will continue to increase. Shoulders are beggining to take on a good shape :)
