IVE NEVER DONE 20 REPS THATS WHY U NEVER SEEN IT THERE!!!!!!!!

Ahh but what if you were to add them into your leg workout and found your progress was even faster?

Like you said a burning pain but its all good thou I try and train like this all the time I only work one body part a week because I have to work weekends and can't get to the gym so I give it heaps really enjoying it. Thinking of competing in the CNIs next year will have a good look at my diet after the silly season :P

On the subject of legs (and I think I've said it here before) my new favourite is supersetting sissy squats. You feel a great stretch on the quads, too.

I'm beginning to think that EU's workout details are a lot like Growth's photos - we'll never see either :grin:

Lol. I know I've gotta start a log Ash. I might soon but for now I'll be making some fibre-enriched ones. [sorry for those who are eating].

When I typed those PM's I forgot to save it. So you guys might have to dig that up and post it in a separate thread, because I'm just too lazy to type that stuff out again. Sorry. :grin:

lastnight with 160kg squats, i usually do 4 reps...im fu*ked after that, but then i pump another 2 - 3....its those reps that make the difference...2 weeks ago i did 180kg for 2 reps...next week hopefully i do it for 4 or 5 reps... :grin: if i can control my nights out clubbin..lol

Geez its been soo long since ive had a workout, ive been really busy with new temporary job so i havent been able to come on the boards much, i should be able to get on as regularly as i did before though now.

So yeah, what has it been, about 1 month, 2 months? A long time anyway, after finishing my alloted break i found i had no desire to get back into the gym. So i continued doing other things, and really havent been thinking about it all that much.

I guess its been a really nice break though, my body hasnt felt this fresh not beaten up in a long time.

Problem is ive been thinking about the gym more and more, and realised that what ive been missing out on. My desire is back more than ever, and even though its going to be a LONG process just to get back into the swing of things, ive decided to lay out a routine and get my ass back in the gym.

So ill take this weekend to finalise everything, and i should have posted my first workout results in a couple of months :grin:

Wondered where you had gotten to, what kind of part time job you been doing?

Its not really part time, its a full time posistion as in 40 hour week, by its a fixed contract so its only temporary until uni begins. It was just a bit of website work, putting together a few websites for a couple of clients, would have been great if it was a long term position.

lol, sure is, i must confess to gaining a bit of fat around the mid-section unfortunately. Probabley just hit the gym pretty light the first week so that i can get a gauge as to where up at as far as strength loss has gone.

Your pretty clued up with various routines etc, i know you gave me that one just before i took my break and it looked really good, i may follow that one once i get into it again, anything else that you think may work well for me givin the type of training i used to do.

Nothing off the top of my head, apart from the frequency thing which I think is very nice to play with.

You could look into something like HST (hypertrophy specific training), 5x5, Poliquin routines, ect if you want.

Thanks mate, i hope so, the first week is usually hell for me, a couple of sets in im just about heaving in the carpark.
