impressive chest work there. Even if you have not achieved you goals with the cutting you have still lost a bit of weight hopefuly most of it is fat.

Thanks mate. Yeah i hope most of it was fat, i suspect there was a moderate amount of muscle loss though, my arms definiatley arent as big as when i was bulking.

Me too... You're in good company, Growth! Perhaps I should create a special support forum - for those that failed to make the cut, as it were...

(Although I haven't given up yet. The last few days have been looking promising. )

might have to join that support forum myself !! though I am not giving up either, will keep going till the end if december.

Hmmm, with so many failed cutting attemps on the board it makes me wonder if some kind of forum or thread should be created, if we all put our heads together we should be able to come up a good plan, and also cross reference things that we are doing wrong etc.

Wanted to keep reps higher today, so on lat pulldowns i just stuck with the first work set weight and carried that through. Also managed to keep the reps high with BB rows. Got to chins and the reps were down a bit, i didnt want to drop weight on this exercise so i did low reps here. Bicep work was good too, only very slight increase on last weeks bicep numbers. Hammer curls to finsh. Then fooooooooood

Also went for another run last night.

Good workout man... those hammer curls are awesome for carving in detail on forearms IMO.

I second the proposition of a cut-support-group.

Yeah, i always try to get in either hammers, or reverse curls, even if its just for a pump at the end of the workout. Might start doing some heavy reverse BB work for a change up.

Just the norm today, emphasis on cardio, then just a bit of calf work and ab work to finish the workout off.

Another run last night. Will be running every weekday as a last effort to try and rid myself of some more BF, rest on weekends.

i just looked back over the past few weeks, you havnt trained legs in 2 weeks!! shame on you

Well you also would have seen the post i made about giving 1 muscle grups a rest every week instead of taking a whole week off. Unfortunately that means that it will have been 2 weeks since each bodypart have been worked because i only hit each bodypart once a week.

Sucks sure, but i think its better than taking a full week off, especially when cutting.

Growth, what about cutting overall volume down (for your bodyparts), still maintaining intensity (non-failure) during that 'week off' or de-loading all together?

My guess is you don't like frequent bodypart training, judging by your split?

Yeah that is an option too, one i had thought of actually, i just hadnt had a break in so long i thought it best to really give them a rest all together.

I used to train with more frequency. I tried a full body split 3 times a week once and saw some of the biggest gains i have had. I dont know why i havent gone back to it just for some variation, should look at giving frequency a go next year again.

......I dont know perhaps i am training with so much intensity that i need 21 days off per group, or 1 workout a week or something

 See ya for your next monthly workout.

Don't get me started on the adaptations during those 21 days. A whole 2 days of protein synthesis and 19 days of CNS recovery. Wooopeeee.

Hey man, never too late to use a thermo, use some cheap local one. Even a 1% increase in metabolism is good to burn more fat for just sitting around time init ?

increasing ur metabolism does not mean you will burn more fat. all it means is you will use more calories during the day...

how much fat you drop is about diet..
