Hey bro it was nice meeting you in ourhouse, sorry for calling you Jersey shore (I was the guy in the team Joseph shirt from twilight)

maybe your hamstrings,quads, or hips are a bit tight and in need of bit of stretching? I used to have all sorts of knee problems before I started actively stretching my legs out. It was mainly my hips and hamstrings for me.

hmmm worth a shot I suppose, did it feel like it's hurting right in the middle of the bone for you? to be fair I don't stretch at all unless I have horrible doms then I decide to stretch, at the moment the most painful thing for me to do are walking lunges but will start stretching them from now after morning cardio cheers bro...

on to today

took my morning 20mg of DMAA and headed to the gym, saw an old lady must of been in her 50's-60's with a sign by the traffic lights near the gym she was protesting something about John Key exploiting kids for cheap labour or something...being the dick head that I am I lowered my window and started to dance with her to trance music

did an hour's cardio on the x trainer didn't go too hard just over 800 cals burnt, one the way back home I saw 2 cop cars who pulled to the side to question/talk to the old lady (strong police in south Auckland) no weights tonight so that's more rest for the knee...hoping that Immortals doesn't suck when I go watch it tonight...

It's more about the flexibility of the joints in my case, along with tight tendons because my joints were too tight and I wasn't able to stretch out enough... look at Ronnie Coleman as an example, that crazy fella could do splits when he was at his biggest.. work towards that kind of flexibility.

f*ck I hate hayfever...and I got a terrible case of it right now...

am session cardio on x trainer 1 hour while watching cop out (took 20mg DMAA before the cardio sesh)

pm session delts/traps/abs

before going to the gym I had a bottle of sugar free V and 3 scoops of superpump max (don't feel any energy from the superpump, but get a decent focus out of it and look slightly more vascular)

overhead barbell press in the squat rack

bar x 10

30kg x 5

40kg x 5

50kg x 5

55kg x 5

I am pretty sure I can pump out more reps at 55 at this stage, not sure if I should do that or just move on to 60kg...

seated overhead dumbbell presses (I like these more due to the ROM feeling better @ the lower part, I hate the barbell esp how I have to lean back when I lower it down)

25kg x 4 sets x 15 reps

funny shoulder hammer strength machine ...not sure of it's name but you pretty much load it with plates and kind of push each handle at 45 degrees overhead while standing...will take a pic of it one day

20kg per side x 2 sets of 30 reps (15 rep each side)

30kg per side x 30 reps (15 each side)

30kg per side x 20 reps (10 each side...didn't rest enough)

standing lateral raises

8kg x 10

12.5kg x 2 x 10

let me start off by saying looking at TWL's journal is depressing....this is what I have for dinner

I had a shit sleep so decided no cardio today...also declared it a no diet day, so I hate some of kraft's peanut butter, some mini chocolate (I am not a chocolate person but felt like it) 2 splice iceblocks , 2 bags of small doritos...awww yeah I am bad to the bone

starting to get a bad case of hay fever so im taking loratadine which makes me drowsy as f*ck...being the retard that I am I took one prior to going to the gym...

Back and biceps day

started off with dead lifts

trap bar alone x 10 (felt like warming up on it for once...feels a bit iffy)

60kg x 10

100kg x 5

120kg x 2 x 5

140kg x 3

some other decided to do deads next to me...had a look at my weights and decided to match it...each plate he put on the bar he had to make a lot of noise by making it hit the other plate...he put 140 too

140kg x5

homeboy only manage to do 1 rep of 140...when I finished I looked at him and started nodding...I think this is bro code for "yeah you silly kunt gtfo with that shit"

lat pulldown

went to jump in to do sets with a dude... then I took a wiff of the air around me and the guy smelt like a sheep...straight up I am not even making this shit up... only managed to do 10 reps of 120 before I ran out of breath since I was holding my breath

went to a different lat pulldown machine (but it's designed for people for longer arms so it didn't feel good

150lbs x 2 x 10

bent over barbell rows

60kg x 4 sets x 12 reps

overhead dumbbell extensions

10kg x 10 each arm

13kg x 10 each arm

15kg x 2 x 10 each arm

rope pulldown

6 bars x 4 x 12

full stack (I think it's only 150 lbs) x 4 sets x 15 reps

called it a wrap after... I got mow the lawn this weekend and I am not looking forward to it with this raging hayfever...fml...also tomorrow marks my return to judo so I am looking forward to that after having a decent break from it, need to brush on my throws/submissions so when I fight TWL his size/strength is negated since it pretty much doesn't matter in judo unless you're a 100kg male fighting a 50kg female...ok the fighting TWL part isn't true but yeah pretty excited to return to the mat, hopefully there are a bunch of white belts for me to bully around :twisted:

edit: oh yeah IDW I got one of those cheapo knee support thingos and it seems to work fine so far, my left hip is starting to bother me too so I am guessing that's why my left knee hasn't been feeling 100%...going to visit the chiro sometime next week

sat was cardio in the morning...came home and took a Loratadine tablet for my hayfever but that made me sleepy as f*ck...slept and missed judo, went out at night to have work dinner in town (I don't even work with the company anymore but managed to score a freebie feed)...decided to also drink 2 bottles of wine and have 3 gin lemon lime bitters drinks...after the dinner did some errr extra curricular activties that made me want to sleep so I gave in to that... Sunday = small hangover so diet went out of the window and it's a complete rest day, had my first noodles in ages aww yeah

Good to hear that you're getting to the source of the problem. Best not to rely too much on that knee support thing though.

I hope the Chiro can help. I'd suggest a Physio for things like that. Chiro's are good at cavitating pressure out of the spinal column.. not too sure about whether they're good at fixing mobility problems with knees and hips and the musculature around the joints. That's probably a Physio's domain.

fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck my main computer died.... can't be arsed checking what it is but it's either the PSU or the mobo....it has been playing up as of late anyway...and the laptops I have don't have the same links....for now I ask you for a truce TWL...no links for a while (and don't steal the ones I put on facebook you kunt)

fuuuuuu typed today's workout and some stupid side entry but this laptop shat itself....this is going to be my last post until I fix my main pc since I hate typing from any of the laptops here or the iphone (can't be arsed connecting my kb to a laptop)

if I don't post a message from here to xmas/new years then I hope everyone has a good new years/xmas...and keep on trolling
