Itch

Recommended Posts

Just curious,

Anyone ever gotten crazy itching around their body, with no visible irritation when working out or getting their heart pumping?

Think its a histamine issue, but its just started happening about 4-6 weeks into my test cycle. Related? anyone else had this? i havnt had it before on previous cycles. Histamine pills seem to help or make it bearable.

Im talking a crazy itch that can make you jump up swearing and running around. Mostly on the back and chest.

Went to the Dr a couple weeks back. Got some histamine pills which seem to have solved it.

I found shi* loads of causes for intense itching with no visible irritation.

Got liver and kidney checked and the bloods came back normal so should be alright.

Only other main causes i could see that might apply were hormone imbalance (which is prob the cause) and anxiety which is known to release histamines when the heart freaks out.

That sort of lessens my concern...

I have a liver function test on Monday... just incase....

I get the same thing. Usually when in the gym but sometimes even when I'm doing something mundane like standing in line at the supermarket. You do feel a rush of anxiety as well. You could try taking some beta-blockers. I've had it for over a year now and am pretty used to keeping my cool when it comes on, but I remember the first 6 months were hell.

What is your bodyfat % like. I have heard the itching is more common when carrying a bit of extra bulk during the off season as when you begin to sweat it takes longer to reach surface and this is the cause of the itching.

I could be completely wrong though so would love to hear others opinions.

I wouldnt say its purely excercise related, as it would happen to me just randomly out of the blue. Its def not your ordinary itch, its quite intense, enough to make you rip your shirt off.

One reason i found on the web was hormone imbalance, which is probably the cause. Its also anxiety related. ANyways, its gone now.

Itchyness, rash, etc can be a histimine reaction to the BA (Benzyl Alcohol) in the gear you are using. Or some other contaminate in the vial. Some people cannot tollorate this compound & especially if in high doses as can be used by some labs to increase the strength of some AAS. Benadryl is an anti histamine which can help & I believe there is a benadryl gel for itch but not sure if available in NZ
