Supplements in NZ (just moved from UK)

Hi everyone, just moved to NZ from the UK. I like the range of supplements available in shops/supermarkets/gyms here, in terms of finding appropriate supplements on the street it is far better than the UK imho

The only thing is (due to sterling weakening perhaps) that protein/creatine/other supps cost more here online compared to the UK. I get my 5lb ON whey for 28 quid (~60$) whereas here i'm struggling to find anything less than 95$

I was just wondering if anyone can advise the best method for getting cheap supps. In the UK there are a few hidden "gems" on the internet that aren't the most obvious finds on google where you can get big name supps for very cheap prices. Are there equivalents here?

cheers for your time

Hi Fella....

Thats what I found bloody expensive, no internet deals or back door prices here, I'm paying just over £30 for top grade USN IGF Whey 2.25kgs... & the 5kg bucket is even better value.... (thats UK prices)..!!!

I'm in UK at the moment (back soon) gonna bring a suitcase of the stuff with me...

You could try http://www.punchsupplements.co.nz or a few of the other on line companys & wait for a special deal, then bulk buy...

But unfortunately they are not very special.....

Welcome to New Zealand...

Welcome to NZ mate, looks like we're almost all over here now, must be some sort of large scale exchange program going on I guess?

Anyway, if your looking for cheap whey, The cheapest deal your gonna find is a 20kg Fonterra sack of WPC or WPI. Not sure of the current price (changes a bit as the market dictates) but it's cheap for a sack of the stuff comparitivley speaking. Plain & unflavoured but good amount of bcaa's and percentage of pure protein. Check this link for details.

Where are you in NZ? I got a guy can get it a bit cheaper than Davis Trading in Auckland if your interested?

Creatine though? Guess just get a big tub shipped over with some other stuff if you really want to save some money on it? Becareful though shipping over other supps, until you've checked out what is and isn't allowed in this country, quite a few drugs on the restricted list here compared to blighty.

Good luck
