did you get any feedback on what they thought you were lacking or what to work on or have you no idea on what the judges thought?

Only thing I can think of is my conditioning but I've emailed Terry Hills to see if he has their comments and if he can pass them on to me

Pete bro, u should not have weeks off, in my opinion after a comp it is prime time to grow ur body has been denied lots of nutrients, now eat lots and train hard ur body will absorb it and get good growth

I get what you are saying tom, it wont be a whole week, will do a few whole body pump sessions but I haven't taken a rest for 3 years except for last year when my dad died and even then I was on the piss hard! (10doz in 4 days...) So just allowing my body a little time to get it's shit together before I murder it

Very disappointed with the result

Really? Wow, you competitive types are hard on yourselves! What I saw was you coming second in a group of 5, with particularly tough competition between you and the other two guys in the top 3.

I'm not an expert on this kind of thing, but I think it was one of a couple of categories that was hard to pick who would win. If I came second on my first ever comp in such a competitive group I'd be bloody pleased with myself.

You're right about the tan though

Thing was though that I killed them all in the back shots and with my legs plus my posing was way better than theirs, don't get me wrong, they were good but I was more complete and balanced

Well I think you looked awesome PD. yup yup. And now you are all ready for summer and even a few months early!!

Haha thanks but now it's time to put on some size, gonna come in next year just as heavy as this year but much much bigger

hey peter i saw the show last night and what agreat show i saw your class and i thought you had the best overall muscle, shape and proportions everything there the guy who came first was more ripped or looked it anyway on stage but in saying that he had very weak legs and didnt match your mass you could off been a bit darker in the morning would of made you look abit harder but use all looked great anyway. I thought you could off one it but thats bodybuilding you looked awesome man keep going hard and you will come back bigger and better next time awesome routine too.

Sounds like it might have come down to the old "size versus conditioning" dilemma for the judges. But you done good, PD. Sure second place isn't first, but you should be proud of it - from the photos it looked pretty close. And I know you'll make damn sure you're biggest AND leanest next time round. :D

Out of interest, what was your tanning product/method?

my conditioning must have been what let me down although my legs had better cuts than the others

I used protan competition colour as the stain the day befroe, 3 coats, and stage finish before going on. Only put one coat on for pre-judging and just put a f*ck load on for the finals

Well done fella good first outing

Got to agree with Tom on his comment though, you make the greatest gains in the weeks after comp. Put your rest week aside for 3 weeks and use and abuse your body the next 3 weeks and get the gains.

Once again congrats.

havnt watched the whole vids yet mate but Im pretty disappointed with the result as you are....looking at the first two minutes not one of those other four have even a slight quad muscle If Im judging I would know how much hard work goes into building those quads and they clearly havnt put in the hard yards......Also lat spread and posing you own them maybe slow it down a bit from pose to pose take your time to get that back out or the most muscular tease em with more to come the BOOM theres a back

Haha everyone has told me about posing too fast, definitely something to take away from this!

you wre ripped off man...i think the winner had slightly bigger'' pretty boy'' biceps than you but thats it!...your upper leg was double his size..his back was more cut but nowhere near as wide as yours...none other had legs in proportion...you were a clear winner bro...ripped!..if you get the judges feedback make sure you post them!

Thanks bro, I will for sure.

If anyone has any critiques, other than conditioning and colour, do share
