Thanks chick, hmmm the hip is still giving me grief :( tried a few different leg exercises today to see if I could pull off but to no avail, keep resting, resting, resting. My legs are gonna waste away :cry:

A friend of mine wants me to have a go at Crossfit training, one of the workouts she told me for one of the exercises they did Military Press @ 30kg for 75 reps :shock: Uhhh and she's saying she reckons i could smash it.

30kgs x 75!!! WTF? Hmmmm let me think...... TUI AD!! I could barely do 8 :pfft:

What I like about Crossfit is that it gets you to push past those mental barriers.. Plus its competitive as hell lol.

Not all us crossfitters suck at form

It is a huge mental competitive process and you'd be extra surprised Jess how well you'd do

They just opened one down the Mount, go check it out - the trainers are ex army JT and Luke, good guys

I always mocked it too but I haven't looked back since starting and have made some solid gains in fitness, strength, body comp etc

Nah you didn't have to do them all at once, just as many as you could at a time but every time you stopped i think she said they had to do 5 pullups and 8 burpees and then carry on.... sounds brutal and def think would give me a run for my money! :nod:

Yeah Ness I met JT I think it was at the pub last weekend and they've set up literally two doors down from my work, same block of workshops. Have seen them running down the driveway with gas masks on :D

My friend is determined to get me in there but i'm just abit weary of the hip right now is all, def keen for a crack tho yup yup :grin:
