Have decided i'm gonna lay off the Jack3d for awhile, that shit's making me angus as! Was good for the first couple of days and have been having the meanest sleeps but yeah after today I felt like I was gonna turn into She Hulk :x

Yeah every few days I would get total rage and just sneer at everyone in the gym. I would actually exhaust myself because of anger! So ditched Jack3d. Hydroxycut was also pretty bad too.

Farrk I totally just thought it was me!! use( jack3d) some times at work with early moring starts...wonder'd why the cows move alot faster.. :shifty: And waste alot of energy being frantic over nothing..

Wanted to add in some board work as per Startinfromscratch's suggestion, I really wanted to do abit more of this but was fully running out of time & wanted to do some other exercises. I do like this though, can someone give me a refresher to the benefits of board work?? Ta :)

Boards - work that particular part of the lift up. eg if your a raw lifter and you have a sticking point say 3 inches off your chest then use say a 2 bd to build strength through that area...typically its the transition into the triceps where the stuffing falls out of the lift for a raw lifter. Reckon youd benefit from adding it to flat bench work after your main bench sets...say 6-8 sets of 3 off the board for a month and you might see a difference.

Awesome thanks steak, yup will definately add in some board work to FB, i'm all for bringing my bench up & keen to try different things to help. Cheers :D

2boards for RAW lifters. IMO the other huge benefit is working with weights over your max, safely. gives you confidence knowing how the weight feels before you attempt it from the chest. 8)

For sure! I definately felt I had more in the tank but yeah was pushed for time etc but was good just to have a play anyhow, will def do some more next week!

I haven't really checked up on this lately but I'm pretty sure you're repping now what your 1rms used to be not too long ago. (My memory isn't THAT good) Either way, nice. Are you doing box squats because you aren't getting deep enough or for another purpose?
