I felt REAL weak tonight, not that happy with weights to be honest

Cheers John and yup definately think it will be alot slower making these gains over 100 but is a good challenge :nod:

Tonight was laxed as just did 20 minutes incline walking on the treadmill and then went and plonked myself in the sauna for 40 minutes :D

Test day today before next Saturday...

Squat

Open 80kg

2nd: 82.5kg

3rd: 82.5kg (coz we changed the plates i was standing on the floor so thought i'd do this weight again, but i'm not happy with it... wasn't low enough IMO

Bench

Open 42.5kg

2nd: 45kg (don't think I was paused long enough to be a pass)

3rd: 47.5kg - Missed this :evil: but my setup was fucked as I moved once i was set :doh:

Deadlift

Open 100kg

2nd: 102.5 x 0 :twisted: Don't know what happened? Ass not down enough?

3rd: 102.5 Got it that time

TT gonna put the vid up tonight so will see what ya's think then. Please feel free to critique and advise muah. Thanking you :D

awsome shit girl!, just remeber on the day.. keep ti all tight and bring a good setup, and listen to those comands!, other than that have bloody fun with it too, i know i did when i nailed my sqaut opener :pfft:

just afew things...

squats: hard to tell from the angle of the vid but the squats looked just an inch to high, just remember to spread those knees out on the way down mate and that should sort it

bench looked solid as, mean arch! :twisted:

Deadlifts: good lifts mate just try and keep the arse down abit more on the initial lift off, cuz as soon as the hips and arse lift off your recruiting mostly all lower back into the lifts and bugger all else (if u have a look at attempt 1 and 2 youll see what i mean) and drive the heels into the ground you wont rock as much too. other than that it looked solid, id maybe play with grip and stance width as well, maybe bring them in abit it may benefit you, maybe not everyones different

Cheers John, I just watched it again and yeah man squat no way near low enough, god what a difference not being able to use the mirrors as I rely on them quite a bit to see where i'm at with depth... and deads oh that was just terrible, that bar was rolling round all over the place, not good.And yeah bum not down low enough. Uh have only just recently begun to place my feet abit wider as I found it easier but I agree re my hand grip I think that should come in closer too... chur chur for your input :nod:

Looked good moratti...agreeing with big john on the deads....if you don't keep your arse down and pull thru the shoulders/lats you will set yourself up for possible back injuries as you get higher on the weights..better to get that form right now to avoid injury..I learnt that from experience and now as soon as my hips come up our coach will ban the lift.

But great effort all round :grin:
