Shoulders night! I haven't done one of those in ages. Maybe like 7 years? :o

Yup I like to give shoulders a blast :D Something I missed whilst doing Sheiko...

Thanks Rimma, Harry. I had in my head before going in that I wanted to Clean & Press 40kg, but after those coupla sets at 30kg I chickened out and thought I wouldn't be able to lift it :roll:

Maybe post should have read.... felt weak after that :lol:

Cheers bud, yeah both the benches were taken... I didn't really wanna do incline first as I wanted to be "fresh" for flat bench, but anyway got my number I wanted as it's been haunting me. I've been trying to hit that since Sept last year! Yeeha :grin:

So Nate, if i'm gonna have a go at these Highland Games do ya reckon I should be doing any kind of specific training atm or just wing it?

* Practice Farmers Walks with DB's in the gym & do some grip work (fat bar grips for back work is good).

* WFH - probably just do some explosive stuff like powercleans, snatches (bar, DB, KB). Most people try & do the WFH like a KB Swing but its more like a snatch movement.

* Shot put - if you can find one or do some rock puts! Just do your pressing work explosively (may need to back weights off a little - dynamic effort may help).

* Caber toss maybe find a fence post and practice! LOL

With Shot Put it might pay to PM someone like Wookie or Tonka that has a throwing background? I don't really have a lot of technical knowledge in this area.

Nah didn't quite get the jump, more just came up onto my tippy toes...
