hey MG, we have a serious matter to discuss. Me and damo are deeply concerned, it seems our mutual friend bigjohn is suffering. We have been watching for awhile, and his powergut has been getting smaller.

At first we thought it may be work stress, but it seems that the cause it far more sinister. We are going to scedule an intervention and would like you to be there and contribute.

Sinister? lol, it's only for the greater good dude :D to put your minds at rest though let me assure you that J is by no means suffering, his powergut has got smaller aye :nod: that's the name of the game bruv all part of the plan :grin: Don't worry he's still having his cheat meals, although these seem to have turned into cheat DAYS without the cardio :evil:

lol Manorexia and John in the same sentence just doesnt' have a ring to it, ain't gonna happen my bro :pfft:

so i will be doing some carb cycling and cardio once sheiko is done, as long as it doesnt effect strength.

and lets face it, us boys arent 12% - we can lose some chub without losing strengh.

yea i wasnt serious, i think all of us fatties know that we could be leaner, we just arent open about it.

i say good on him for doing it, i havent weighed myself since november, and i will have to buy a nappy for when i do cos its gonna be bad :grin:

so i will be doing some carb cycling and cardio once sheiko is done, as long as it doesnt effect strength.

I have a confession to make :oops: well 2 actually.

1. It was I who dragged Big John kicking and screaming into the Quay Street KFC on saturday night. I made sure we were in the same vehicle too so I could keep an eye on him and make sure he didnt escape and try and get home to a tuna salad with mung bean sides. Everytime we passed a sushi bar or salad bar I would distract him and say "oooh look at that" and point in the opposite direction or keep him busy by sending someone a text till we got there.

Once inside I knew it would be easy to lead him further astray and proceeded to tempt him with the fine dining menu it is at KFC. Buckets, Street Wise meals, Krushers, cheesecakes, potatoe and gravy, fries and spicy chicken fillets and the like. My ploy was working and because of my terrible plot Big John swaggered his way to the counter and was heard to ask the small Indian attendent "Whats the biggest burgers yous make"

Long story short MG and because of my own fear of being skinny and weak I have witnessed the demolition of many pieces of fried chicken, tub after tub of potatoe and gravy (much of it eaten as a dipping sauce for handfulls of fries, litres of fizzy pop, nuggets...to many to count, sweet and sour and chilli sauces, the aforementioned burgers and Im sorry to my rectus abdominious but there were also quite a few cheesecakes involved.

I was misguided in my intervention and perhaps went a little overboard as I have been known to do but I was the only super heavy weight that was with John on this day and I didnt want to see him suffer any longer and feared he may have lost the skills to be able to maintain bodyweight at this highly competitive level. A true travesty if this is the case!

2. I sometimes throw up in my mouth when I read your training log :clap:

So I normally do legs on a Monday, they are pretty sore after yesterday Lunge Marathon but wanted to give box squats a go and was just gonna go by feel for the rest of my workout until Combat time

Box Squats

Bar x 12

50kg x 10

60kg x 10

Swapped to a lower box

60kg x 6

70kg x 5

75kg x 3

Wow could really feel this in my hips!

Mate came over for a chat and roped me into doing Pump Class

Squats were a killer (all those bottom half pulses are killer man!)

And I think instructor chose the hardest lunge track ever. Honestly it's not like me to stop etc during a track but I got the massivest cramp in my right butt cheek it wasn't funny, mate next to me cracking up :roll: and then had to do it all again for the other leg :shock:

In hindsight I should have called it quits there, but I love my Combat so stayed for that too...

Somehow I feel I may not be playing Touch tomorrow :doh:
