another week gone with some serious vol under the belt, shit its ticking down to game time fast!!! just took a casual approach today which prob made it harder, just want to be in half decent shape for sats sm comp, body still holding together pretty well just takes awhile to warm up, happy to be increasing weight in week 4, then week 5 test cant wait!!

sat comp goal: not get injured :pfft: + win 25m tyre flip....come at me bro!

in other words i was lazy today and had to use knee wrap on 160... fact...

RM THE NOVICE STRONGMAN MATCH DAY REPORT

status-good add none, bad at none - tech been my let down in 3 event but finished all events and no injury and had a great day so very happy.

weigh in: 97.7kg

seated car rope pull

was pretty easy, once you got it started, just missed the rope a few times so lost heaps of time here as the rope went slack!! not sure of placeing

farmers walk 83kg per hand 50m course 25 each way

made pretty light work of it, guy nxt to me smoked me but!! alot didnt finish, i just stuffed up the turn and got sides ways hard tech issue no1 faaark up!!

over head - 35kg power bag, 36kg db per hand, 70kg axel, 85kg log

loved this, smoked though to log, but then rush it in faarked up the press so i was made to do it again so just repd it out again

rolling deads 5 attempts

180,200,210,220,230 - 10kg pb on con style here good times, was 3rd= but droped to 4th for on been a fatty :pfft:

220 tyre flip 25m up hill

wanted to finish on a high as im norm good on tyre, was a compact little bugger and quite orkward, ended up 2nd!! gutted should of won the 1 but fuked up a few times in lost control!!

any way great day, 12 lifters n my grade, even few small dudes who did great, it very well run, i ended up was 5th upto tyre so not sure on end result may have snuck up a place, but all and all didnt do n e training 4 it so pretty happy, next time ill do some implement prac and look for the win!! good catch up wif tom who did well with the big boys!! and big chur to the crew steak,berbelle,bigjohn,vp,traps,wes,panzer etc etc for the support!!.untill next year i shall hang up the novice strong man boots! MADNESS OUT

damage report - traps domed out hard from sat and had a slight tweek in middle of back from log press as i lent to far back in compacted up the spine when puttin log over head, have done b4 so easy fix be back to 100% in few days to continue the pursuit.

Wow not surprised you had trap doms :shock: your upper body must have taken a hammering from all that lifting and pressing. You put in a sterling effort BTW :clap:

bench - lovin it, weights starting to build up and speed is good, just bloody sore on back, might still get my 140 paused by the end of the year :nod:

going well, little skill test next week cant wait although pretty much just for squat as bench and deads have already worked up2 95%

same bro...i might just lift 80% for squats bench...and token deadlift 180kgs, since i have Horrible form and setup, my back rounds too :shifty: :shifty: :shifty:

easy day as build into thur skill test day, just going thought the motions still all felt bit heavier than in should of due to lack of warm up but all good!!, amped for thurs may even look for a cheeky pb on squat in bench :shifty:
