prob. just a one off, as he had some time off work, he's down in Napier, if your looking for anything hit up these kents https://www.facebook.com/benchcamp its the boys i train with on the weekends, they made the gpc comp bench, mono, my deadlift jack and can make up anything you want, there stuff is much more heavy duty than anything from the stores round here and the price really well compeared to the likes of get strengh.

 

Tonight: squat/pulls - this night will just be full raw squats, something i really need to build back up, really havent gone over 200 odd since injury a year ago, i figure if i dislike it, its probly something i should target.... also chuck in a few beltless pulls in between to kill the time

squats: 6x60,5x60, 5x80, 3x100, 3x120, 3x140, 3x160, 3x180, 2x200, 1x215x 2x200, 2x200

pauses: 3x180

deads: 3x60, 3x100, 2x140, 2x180, 1x200, 1x220

week 2 - GLA super sundays

squat/pull - 

squat - 8xbar, 8x60, 3x60, 3x100, 3x120, 3x140, 3x160, 1x180. 3x200, 3x220 - 5 sets

pulls - 3x60, 3x100, 3x140, 3x180, 1x200, 5x220

done.  pretty good train, squats fast an easy, but ever 3rd rep i kept tipping forward abit, was faaakin me off! good to be pumping out the vol again, 3x per week 220 for work sets next 3 weeks, deads just a pretty easy 5 as the others wer hitting pulls, start a proper 5x5 dead prog from this week, I really think i can make some serious gains on deads if i put in the work,

bws sitting around 101-102 at night so room for another 5kgs there, which will added a few kgs on lifts.  

also had the depth police in today, getting up close and personal....

squat - 8x60, 5x60, 5x100, 3x140, 3x160, 2x180, 2x200, 2x220 - 5 sets

Done. Good squats, real easy, bodys feel so good back on this high vol really helps mobilty, got a new bar nice and stiff so took abot to get used to, fukin grated up my sun burnt back, good though no bounceing around. 5x5 deadlifts next session

current split - week starts from a friday

fri - squat/bench

sunday - squat/bench/pull

tue - squat/bench

weds 5x5xdeadlift

700 is so close i can taste it!!

deads - week 1 of 5x5

5x5x180 - nice easy start, finger has blowen out again fuk it, dont know what goin on there but light enough i dont need it at this stage, no belt these 1st 3-4 weeks.  Looking forward to building some consistancey as i think i can pull 275-280 at worlds all going well, will add 5-10kgs per week until maxed out then will move to 5x3, 3x3 until comp, ever 2nd sunday some deadlift variation will also go down.

also hit some dead hangs and prone holds to finish.

I was just deciding if i was going to go to this myself. Would be an awesome weekend . Lol at the pre workout beers and still smashing out 220 for that many reps .  300 will be awesome to see ya hit.

Bloody good train! just 2s today nice and easy got 6s next sunda faaaark! just using my 1st ever pair of old 2m wraps this block, feeeeeeels goood! stock with deads to, its just my extra add in session for fun but thats getting up near pr reps, was with the fat bar (30mm) so happy grip was good with my small girls hands!

this week:

been abit of a write off, was up doing a 2nd job+book work most night this week only managed at 5x5x120 bench and a 5x5x190 pull, had a day off to freahen back up today so went int the local gym for a blast, good fun getting out and more productive

comp squat: 8x60, 5x60, 5x100, 3x120, 3x140, 2x160, 2x180, 3x200, 5x220, 3x240, 3x250

fat bar trap dead pulls - 190x3 for about 6 sets

hi-bar 3 count pause squats 140x3 - 4-6 sets

back ext - 3x15-25

club swings 10-15 each way 4 sets med club.

goood! moving house soon, new place only has a closed in space on 3 sides, its big but not a proper garage, will be mint for summer session but will prob also re-join a gym, and do half and half, gutted couldnt find a place with a massive garage, but the house is so sweet ill let it slide

that was it, after that much squat was pretty gas, we rip though with no much rest, was a sik session all the crew getting stuck it, squats are on, pulls are on, now time to really start getting stuck into that bench! only 10 weeks to sydney faaaaaaaark!

fukiin right off of a week...again, ended up been called to into help building on the block for the final push, 7 to 6non stop, packed in a sauna with the buildings been coved in srink wrap with cameras in  your face, just killing gains! hopfully only 1 more day on monday

have pretty much based training on 2 big sessions friday and sun, and 1-2 small bench session though the weak, just doing a basic 6 week russin prog for bench to to keep me on track at current

mon - bench 6x2x125, weds 6x3x125, pause squat 3x3x160

tonight -

bench - 2x132 - 7 sets

GLA Super sundays - 

Squats 

work sets: 4x4x240 - pretty solid, odd high one, all and all on track, kind of gone off plan a tad, how ever I dont think the body will hold togther push that hard for another 9 weeks, these crazy russian progammes arnt really designed for the natural lifter, gotta play it smart, if it only mean 5-10kg pr illl still take it gladly 

finished with some, light pulls and rows, solid work put in by the crew

Been moving house with net down, so nothing major training wise, have re- joined a gym to get some more consistence traing going again, so will hit it 2x gym, garagex1 and GLA super Sundays in one of the 3 local garages, for my 4 days, under 8 weeks out so time to switch back on and get it done...

Squats- knee has stared to blow out again same injury as last year, felt it go while hitting reps on 260 last Sunday,  so going to drop weights back and build it back up to peace into comp, not ideal and any dreams of 300 may have to wait but no rush, still confident on 290 odd, did 3x3x170 pain free last night.

bench- just getting back on the train, have more equipment at gym so starting to add some shoulder work and pumping up the arms, hopfull of a 155 

deads still ticking along 5x5 on one day at 210 currently and a 2nd day defs and box pulls, going real well. 

Back in!

took rest of week off, trying to get knee right, seem to of worked, today tested it out, built up to 250 seemed ok, will have another light week, then hopfully be ready for 6 week blast into comp, the base is there so should be ok

squats - 70x8, 70x6, 90x5, 110x5, 140x5, 180x3, 200x1, 220x1, 250x1

pause bench - 6x5x120

3inch block pulls - 3x60, 3x140, 3x180, 1x200, 1x220, 1x220, 1x230, 1x250 + 20 sec hold

up at the gym tonight - 

2 count pause bench - work sets 2x120 - 6 sets, 2x1x135

ssb pause squats (speed) work sets 3x140 - 6-7 sets

ohp - 10x50 - 4 sets

hammy curl 15xstack - 4 sets

 cg bench 8x100 - 2 sets

hammers 20x20 - 2 sets

real good train, bench is feeling really good again, keeping working weight 70% odd and just pumpin the volume and frequency at current, will start adding more weight later on, 1st time doing any over head work in probly about 1-2 years so weak now, but will build it back up in no time, will be good for a bench

other notes - just seen chris duffin who is in my class at comp squat 400kgs over the weekend lol i prob should just stay home....

last night - deads/bench - a few weeks a head of plan so had more of deload of sorts on pulls with only 1 working set instead of the 5

pulls to 5x215

paused bench 6x6x120

rows 4x10x80

wg pull downs 5x8x71

few other bits and peices, good train, bench felling really strong, needed a deload from pulls as its starting to feel heavy despite been still pretty light

squat/bench - last muck around squat b4 the 6 week build up phase, 7 weeks out

singles to 260 - wasnt that easy, but seem to be pretty much back to 100% there wont be anything over 70% for the next 3-4 weeks going to start pumping the vol and frequency, time to get serious again after the minor set back, looking at were i am currently i wounld be happy to hit 290, 300 is a magic number and im happy to wait another few years if need be, it will come 

pause bench - 6x2x120 - then long pause singles to 150, really happy to hit that after 3 soild session this week, i think 160 will on the cards if all goes well

super sundays - was an epic train today up the HPL had about 10-12 of us charging some big numbers went down - iv set up a full plan for the 6 week block into comp, which is full on and starts tomorrow so today was last muck around -

just did squat 180x8 for a few sets and some cg bench 10x100 spent rest of time crankin dowm knee wraps

pumped to start tomorrow, see how body holds out, knee was sore again today fuk it!! but will push it hard, all or nothing

week 1/6 - 

weds - didnt get to gym until 9, was gased only managed squats 2x210 for 3 sets b4 throwing in the towl, knee was raped mind wasnt in it, plan was 220x2 for 6 sets, still hit paused bench numbers fine 3x125 - 6 sets

tonight - 1st night at home, straight open plan out with the bugs

squats - 220x3 - 7 sets - not to bad, 1st time out in the open again and in a new pair of beasty stiff wraps that need breaking in, so was being very carful, which made it abit harder than it needed to be,how ever much better than weds, really goin to start pumpin up the volume now

paused bench - 130x2 - 4 sets, 140x3, 150x1- all pretty easy, could help but throw in a few heavier sets, 

assist - cg feet up 3x10x100

not bad, will start chucking up some footage again
