week 3 day 2

squat

5x5x160 b - 3 done.

5x5x70 - 3 done so far.

...............ony got 1/4 way thought then, had to bail and take the little man to starship, as the little tank is not to well, but he will be good, so we will try again tomorrow!!

finish off from last night on squats and ohp, then into my deads, some nice reps there, odd rubbish one, but pretty happy, dam sight harder then 5x5 squats, next week will be a grind :twisted: but home swweet home after that as squats drop off and it goes to 3's \:D/

prog sets -

did one heavy set on 2 board but elbows which are almost back to norm were starting to go, so i canned that and cleans and did some recovery work in stead - bands and rolling - shoould be back to near 100% next weeks

took awhile to get into it as the body is abit smashed from a hard week of lack of sleep and quality eats, squat felt heavy until the 200 set where just went beast mode and smashed it with relative ease, bench nice and light, time for a laxing weekend then into the last week of 5's.......feeling strong 8)

*side note - looks like i can lift in a non ipf event with out getting banned, apart from international stuff, but in about 150kgs short of caring about that, so now i have some direction and a chance to lift again this year on home soil, with all my mates!! does it get any better than that? \:D/ so pumped!! 24hr weigh in so im gunna hit the u90 class, then turn up on the day at about 95 :lol: gunna be siiiiiiiiik!! now where is the cheapest place to get me a metal jack pro suit :shock:

don't worry about the squat suit brother you will only need 4ply open back bench shirt looking at that bench workout :pfft: :pfft: 105kg benching really........ please....... once again 110% effort on squats 5 % on bench :doh:

100% was given on both, just following the prog, full force was given to each rep......but yes, i will be buying a size 32 super kat and cutting the back open then adding my old shirts, one under neith then the other over the top faaaaaaaaaaaark :lol:

crapest last few days - some kind of cns blow out yesterday, left me me in a shivering ball allday, but 14hrs sleeps and i woke up normal again? wtf? then tonight just before gym turn head to look over shoulder while in car and faaaarked my neck? can turn to the left side but not the right with out crazy discomfort!! anyway did my work out just pulled it all back ....

neck back to 80%, but the bit of a rest iv had has payed divident and the rest of the body is firing again!!!

bw: 92.8 - (morning weight) - finally got some good home scales, 1st week of clean eats gooood already feel body tightening back up

Bro i believe its time we regained our Iron Honor back and the Madness/Jack3d trophy! maybe madness need to hold a Hui, see if we can get Pokerfaced Panzer to make up the bench Deficit? :pfft: :pfft: :pfft:

just deload from the vol on main lifts this weeks so nice and easy so will be smashing in to the assis work harder, gunna try some high rep work and db's for bench to hit all round for something new and to hopefully start to get the bench on the move, just want to get back to 1 faaaarkin 40 paused faaaark!! and the basic lay out of 5x5 is not doing much for bench at mo. New suit came in mail today, can just get it up to the kneee yeoooow cant wait to GET IN but raw (+) maybe the way to go in sept as i can almost squat the same in just wraps as i can in the suit lol
