week 3of4 dzone

Deadlift (90%): 1x2 @ 220 kg

Speed deadlift (75%): 3x3 @ 180 kg (120 sec rest b/w sets)

Power shrugs (75% of current): 2x5 @ 172.5 kg

Stiff-leg deadlift: 2x5

Bent over row: 2x5

Chins: 2x5

Arched back good morning: 2x5

extras - pull up 10,8,12,8,8

last hit out b4 comp, pretty happy, prog was set for 227.5x2 but cut it back as that would of been a hell of a grind in current form and not really needed so close to comp, may do few speeds at 50% to keep in rythem next week, but the damage is done innnn to it!!! just wanna hit a comp pr next sat after cockin up last 2 comps so will prob just go 210/220/230 yeoooooow!

week 4 of 4 - hitting openers squat n bench

did bw test sat at 1pm as thats when comp one is hit - 92.9 faaaark perfect (hope there scales are the same)

2x160,180 b

opener - 200 b n w - open 10kg less than last time as in the big leauges now in want to make sure of it + im a pancil neck now :doh: how ever will be pushing for pb on 3rd come at me squats :shock:

bench

5x60,80,100

1x110,120

f6 46 engaged

3x130 2b

1x140 1b

1x140 comp lift - ass lifted at tad!! :doh:

1x145 comp calsl - solid yeooooow - confident in shirt now in ready to roll....

dips - facepulls - band push dwns to end......

got some footage and all looks ok will upload later....also a panzer a 222.5kg bench.....FAAAAARK :shock:

ust wana keep burning of energy on the rest days to keep that weight in check with out lowering eats, 4 day then freedom to feast haaaard :grin:

short 4 week build into comp doneskiii, been ok not as intense as i would iv liked, but it is whats it is so leeeeets go!!!

main goal was to get weight down as i want to be a u93 lifter as there 40 resisted in this class so there is plenty of comp in will be good times movin up the ranks over next year so big strength re-build is planed after comp.

sitting perfectly on 91.8 - 92.8 (morn - night) at mo and energy as been good so no stress on weight now :P looking to finally crack the 600 on sat, then on to 7xbw next year!!! goood times

bw:90.5kg - lightest iv ever been at a comp, was over 100 at start of oct

total - 592.5 (+25kg pb) :)

squats - happy to get a clean round on the big stage, was going in with the plan to go for a 222.5 pb on 3rd but after feeling the 2nd it was just not going to be there today so bank a tough 215

bench - stoked with a pb but really wanted to crack the 150!!!! got greedy as 2nd was very easy, flew up flew down :? need to start pumpin the tris!!!

but all in all happy with 1st comp in a shirt having no worries

deads - lost balance on opener at top, but was easy so added another 10kg for 2nd, easy lift thank faaark as bombin thoughts popped into my head for a sec, 230 bit of a grind but ok, good to finally get a comp pb after stuffin up last 2 comps!!!!

good day out and awsome to lift along side some of nz's best and my fellow cbc lifters rach who is just kiiiilling and vp who did bloody well after a ave build up (ps im gunna smoke u next year), big up's to the cbc crew for the help in support, sure makes it a pleasure having a big team around toooo much!!!!

NEXT

want to get squat to 225-230 in next 6 weeks so raw squat prog squating 3xper weeks, may also do this for bench, then its time to engage my new super cent who is sitting under the xmas tree faaaaaark, will be just doing speed for for deads during this time and a few heavy box pulls, will keep chargin hard over xmas as getting muss waits for no1, also gunna really build an iron core.

new goals for next year:

squat: 260 suit

bench: 165 shirt

deads: 245 raw

mid term goal: 7xbw auck champs

into iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit.
