COAST BARBELL CLUB INAUGURAL POWERLIFTING COMPETITION

weight:97kg

squats: belt and knee wraps

210 pass

220 some kind of pause squat :shock:

220 pass - 7.5kg pb

bench raw

127.5 pass

132.5 pass

135 pass 2.5kg pb

deads

212.5 pass

232.5 1/4 lift

232.5 glue to the ground (rumored to be a 252.5 miss load by vp) baaahaha na st piss weak!!!

567.5kg total - 30kg pb :)

2nd in 105's - train hard was in a league of his own taking 1st and over all

squat - madness day here attempt 1 and 2 didnt wrap up in timw had to rush in never got set, luckly got ma 220 on 3rd so pretty happy but wanted the 500lb...next time

bench - highlight for me as added 5kg last 8 weeks which is huge for me 132.5 was fast then 135 was a massive grind....and won the grind of the day award (thp wrip and knee wraps :) from tonka)

deads - hmmmm i needed 237.5 to win the man vs machine trophy which has been done b4 so i was very confident......but after a long day i was gas and yip didnt move!!! faaaaark!!! any way..... :oops:

the day - amazing day, ran so well run we had KO's, 215kg bars rooling over heads, 370kg squats, 545kg 2 man deadlifts, mad cakes, mad bbq's just a great day out smash some tin with mates toooo much CBC people....al was on vid cam and will be out at some stage 8)

Great lifts all day long. Great effort on the bench.

Kept me on the edge of my seat right to the end. An awesome buildup and great fight on the day.

Now we get stronger and post some real numbers, what do say? :rockout:

*new journal name, new goals - 10 weeks to NI champs so no better place to hit my goal i set at start of the year....

*will be dropin 4kg of worthless fat and tuning up as im very much missing some killer conditioning work outs of old, so 3 work outs on strengh, 1 long run, 1 hill sprints, 1 powercardio is the plan, faaark yeahh lets GO!!

Awesome lifting RM, I was very proud to watch you lift..... there are alot off people on here that talk a storm but you never see them do any comps so hats off to you bro..... keep at it you'll be one strong dude in time.... CBC will be one very competitive club in a couple off years thats for sure.

thanks mate, hAappy to tick the 220 off but bit pissed at the same time, should of smashed it on 2nd but miss timed ma knee wrapin, it was panic mode to get there in time in just blew it!! really wanted to give 230 a crack but ohwell next time :pray: also gotta sort this dealift busyness last to comps now iv only managed ma opener :oops: good learning curve for the future :nod:

week 1 of 10 - start of cardio

weight(mon after work starkers) : 100.0kg -(what the faark was in thats cheese cake??)

Goal wight (will weigh same time each week : 94kg - as i alway wake up 1-2kgs lighter

Run : 25mins (10brisk, 10 woddle, 5 boosting)

4months no cardio work faaaark, was pacing then it caught up with me so i woddled home :oops: got a good track on for last 5mins so managed to pace it...S T Ruggler

EATS : (will keep track of whats going down next 3 or so weeks so can see whats going on if weight no moving)

m1-6xweetbix 500ml milk coated 3 big spoons milo, coffee

m2-yogurt mixed with oat, sunflower and punkin sseeds, 2x kiwi fruit

m3-2xham, cheese, and cucumber rolls, banana

m4-tuna, wholegrain pasta, 1/2 avo, apple, ice coffee

m5-3xwholegrain tortillas maxed out with mince+5bean mix, tomarto, corn, cucumber,cheese

m6-1xweetbix, 3xegg whites, tea with 2xtsp chia seeds

Done.
