Hahaha bro i had the samething! there were puddles of sweat in the squat rack looked at my knees farrrrkk, possible cutting/water loss tactics :pfft:

Mate considering how you train...one of the most consisient and determined troops in the trench, and how you never seem to have a flat day...dont beat yourself up over not getting a number....even Boris says "dont train like robot"...its cool to back it off. The other thing is the period of the cycle you are in bro...you should be fatigued!The intensity should be high!

Tonka taught me a while back after dragging my worn out limbs and joints to a Auck comp.... Listen to the body, its ok to drop the volume out a bit here and there and dont be afraid to deload a little earlier....eg start it this wednesday instead of friday etc

Like VP says...keep at it bro. Its only after 3-4 years of powerlifting does the magic happen.

If I could manage to have only 1 bad day in 5 months like you do, I would be over the moon.

I use you for motivation when I feel flat, I see your energy and it gets me through the day.

You are not quite a machine so you will have your down days, dont let that beat you up, get up, walk away and come back like Red does on every other day.

back on form today :lol:

deads - 7th weeks pullin conv finally tidyed up form, found i get sloppy when i added belt so only put on very loose on top sets was much better, all so took flex out of bar b4 pulling and sat back more useing much more legs at start, resulted in some fast reps when it all came together, very happy

bench - after almost been pinned on 120 on sat, had to get form back, did so and end up moving 120 like 80 so very happy to be back on here!!

the end is near, will work upto squat opener on fri then bench onpener on mon to round off another good cycle :)

well another round dun and dusted!!!! :) its been a good cycle for me only really havin one bad sess over the 8 weeks, very stoked to retain my 13months at cbc with out missing a scheduled session.

enjoyed my make shift bench prog, its kept the interest high and staleness low, rather than big vol on low weights boring sessions, and the main things its worked well, also loved changing to conv deads and learning a new skill, takin abit of a drop in weights but it will catch up again.

any way comp goals -

next set of goal for sept comp -

squat - 220 belt and wraps

bench - 132.5 raw

deads - 242.5 belt changed to 232.5 after changing to conv

thats what was put down 9 weeks back, looks pretty doable now 9 week on, have already hit bench goal in week 5, squats feeling strong and deads so so still ironing out tech.....soooooo i will be using these goal number as 2nd attempts so if i get them i can have a cheeky crack at abit more :pray:

unfortunitly wont be enough to hoist the most valued prize in powerlifting (man vs machine challege trophy :pfft: :pfft: ) credit to traps and some well earn gains, but i think i quote from scott cartright some up my feeling on powerlifting at the mo -

for me when i go to a meet, its - i want a pr a personal record, i dont care whos in the meet or who im competeing againest, if i dont walk away with some kind of personal record its a failed meet.

fuuuuaaaaarrrrk 3DAYSSSSS!!!!! FUUUUAAARK.......... =P~
