Optimass I been to supplement king lol. It's a dude who doesn't work out. He's an accountant.

Not trying to take sides here but I'd rather go to Grant eh. I know I've had trouble with Xtreme Nutrition but if I go to Grant I can ask him what needs to be worked on and double check that I am on the right track or get a 2nd opinion hehehehe

I here ya looch .... however most people that go into a supplement store predominantly know what they are looking for. those that don't should see a qualified nutritionist before they go into a supplement store to get a qualified opinion. im sure Grant knows his stuff -but not all dieticians look like body builders ... (in fact I don't know any fully qualified dieticians that do personally).

I went into supplement king today in hamilton, and the owner of the store said that Myo-fusion by Gaspari nutrition has added BCAA's and Gutamine in it and I know protein is made up of amino acids, but it is the added amino acids i am talking about. So i thought i might check out the competition 2 stores down which is caled Xtreme nutrition hamilton owned by a guy called Grant or something. I asked him about the myo-fusion and he pointed out on the labelling that it has no added amino acids and no breakdown of the individual amounts. It sucks that a guy would lie to try and sell a product. Definitely won't be goin to supplement king hamilton no more.

You should make a point to do some research anyway before buying anything. 99% of the time you buy stuff from an employee wherever you go and not necessarily from the passionate owner . If you researched Myo beforehand you could have given the accountant a lesson in aminos :pfft:

I went in to supplement king hamilton 2 weeks ago and the guy behind the counter was huge! but i went back this week and he looked like an "accountant" who doesnt work out, i asked him what happened and he said he went on a trip to aussie and customs took not only his legs, but his chest, arms, shoulders and back! can you believe it!

ive only heard of this happening once before and it was only the guys legs, not everything. i hear this guy is still trying to find his legs.

the "accountant" said he is working hard on getting everything back but it may take some time.

sorry - couldnt help myself... :pfft:

Hennie: store owners should know their stuff. if you have a store owner who doesn't know jack, what good would it do?

Like a store owner that says caffeine will eat up muscle mass if you take it without glutamine?

As far as the bodybuilder goes, caffeine can often has positive, or rather desired effects that will please those who are looking to lose weight quickly. Caffeine raises energy levels and promotes different forms of mental and physical awareness. For many pre-contest athletes, many use what is called an ECA stack which consists of the following, ephedrine, aspirin, and caffeine. This combination is used to shed body fat fast. In fact almost all weight loss supplements employ at least some sort of caffeinated ingredient list.

The aforementioned results regarding weight loss seem very appealing but it is also important to know that there are also many negative side effects that come from both short term as well as long term use of caffeine during your workout routine. One of the side effects can include the feeling of being jittery and a general feeling of anxiety. Because caffeine acts as a stimulant, it has been proven that this stimulant actually constricts muscle growth. It does this by tightening the blood vessels. If something tightens the blood vessels then of course less blood will flow from the heart to the muscles. With less blood flowing from the heart to the muscles your body will not get it's needed amino acids as well as the protein it desperately needs to both during as well as after a tough workout. Another consideration is that if you are trying to gain mass, caffeine will work against you as it also acts as a mild appetite suppressant.

hahahaha. somebody sounds jealous. just cause your not an ifbb pro, you dont have to hate on others.

Asking for proof of something that sounds like BS is jealousy and hating now? That's an interesting way to look at it.

titan90 already gave you proof. go read his post.

I did read his post. I didn't see anything there but poorly informed speculation.

Handwaving about vasoconstriction isn't proof of anything. It's just some guy guessing based on very poor understanding of physiology.
