Powerlifting Day - Round 2

Recommended Posts

I hadn't seen this thread before - wow, looking at where you started just 8 weeks ago, you've done amazingly well. I know you'd made improvements, but seeing the numbers on your first post in this thread to what you did yesterday - just brilliant!

I'm glad I wrote that down actually coz it's good to go back and see! My bench was wrong tho, that was 50kg with no pause and i'm pretty sure now the girl who was spotting was in fact touching the bar helping it up!

Great effort MG, you did good gal!!!

Cheers Tonka! Am so happy I got it, it's been a tough 8 weeks! Emotional rollercoaster of sorts, geez

that bench technique came straight from you reuben well as much as possible from the brief discussions weve had and your write ups and vids

Yup TT conveyed your advice so I tried to put into practice as best as I could :D

I was impressed bro when I saw MG setting up. With only 8 weeks training she did exceptionally well. There is heaps of potential for a bigger arch which translates to a much shorter movement and this normally leads to bigger weight!

Good stuff TT and MG! BTW, there is an Waikato/BOP ice-breaker on Nov 27th. I'll be heading over to that to help some lifters, if you both want to lift flick me a PM and we can talk about programming.

Cheers Tonka, appreciate that! Not sure if I'll be lifting just yet? Hmmm something to think about...but will definately cruise over anyway
