Whats your bodybuilding Budget?

i wonder if people who spend thousands a months buying protein, pills, etc see better gains than people who dont?

If thats what they spend their money on, probably not. My biggest expense is on food quality food and lots of it. i believe this is by far the most important ingredient, I dont want to think what I spend, I am sure the missus could tell me she is always complaining about the food bill!

I dont go out and drink/party like I used to so I guess I am not really spending any more than I used to.

Whatever I have left after bills, food for the family and family related expenses. So basically f*ck all...

Brb buying another pair of $10 trainers.

I agree with that, even down to the trademe scores (training shirts,shoes,shoes,shoes,singlet,shoes...)

How much do you spend a month on any type of bodybuilding related goods or services. This includes things such as bb specific food, supplements, physio, whatever you spend your dough on that is related to your bbing.

Only food at the moment, no protein powder, no creatine, no gym fees ( working out from home ) so probably only an extra $50 a week on food over maintenance level.

Target bro... 3 tshirts for $20? I'm there!!!

I don't even buy supplements really. Every now and then I will buy some whey and some 1MR but for the most part I just eat.

As for gear I try and buy in bulk every few months to keep my costs down. Bodybuilding is the last thing I spend on.

I'm lucky to have an ok income with no kids/mortgage/family etc, and really the only thing I have to spend on is training at the moment (aside from geeky stuff)... so pretty much anything goes, not looking forward to that changing! :shifty:

'Cept doing a bit of travelling next year, so have had to reign back the spending a wee bit to save for that.

Hopefully on my travels can pick up some cheap gears to send back home though
