110kg in that pic ... biggest they have been was 22' @ about 122kg (not as lean and about 8 years ago). When my wife was nursing she used to call my veins drain pipes - perfect for IVs). :shock:

late bloomer ... trained on and off with my brother who was being trained by a guy from Austria/germany in his basement when I was 16 but never really got into anything solid until I was 21. When I was 17 I weighed 75kg - after 19 years I'll never weigh under 100kg again :grin: (not for lack of trying)

Nah ... gave up way before then - only ever competed as a Natty. Gave away the dreams of grandure and chose to train for me. Very hard to be competitive at that level when you are a head taller than the next guy. Got pipped by a guy at 87kg when my class was merged 90+ to 80-90. (my stage 99kg)

Was just at golds Gym last Monday. Photos of Arnie are still up on the wall infact they have photos of alooot of famous body builders. also got to see a body building competition which joe weider was able to attend. got to meet the asian guy from gaspari at golds too was awesome sucha big gym.

it kinda annoyed me when he got people to take it all down ay, i know myself and a lot of guys i train with look up to him in a big way and when he did that i kind of felt like he was trying to not be associated with us as bodybuilders because others may think were "bad people" and that that could harm his campaign.

i dont know i always just feel like we should be proud of what we've accomplished in our lives!

Just like reformed sinners, they go on and on abou tteh dangers of what they once loved and prospered in. Shame on them too.

I went quite some time ago - stayed on venice at the cadilac hotel and watch the NBA final the year the Lakers one the NBA final with Shaq and Kobe.

Remember feeling in awe of how big and well condition some of the female bodybuilders were that were training there. Was like walking on to the set of american gladiators.

Also had a good meal at Schatzies but missed the big man by an hour and a half. Primo trip .... you know you are a diehard fan when you have made the pilgramige
