powerlifting day

Good work - love the divebomber squats bro - you recruit a truckload of fibres by having a fast eccentric phase, just most people are terrified to drop like a stone!

If you can get someone to work with you on that bench, still looking like a bodybuilder. You'll easily add kgs just by learning to arch, retract your scapular, tuck the elbows and get a leg drive.

Again good effort TT.

cheers nate yeah I am a firm believer in technique first and have tried to pick up as much as I can from watching the vids on the net and went to watch the waikato bench champs the other week but without direct coaching its pretty hard to get the finer points down pat.. will keep working though it sure is the life

 Great lifting TT, I think there is plenty more to come the power is definitely there.

Those squats were awesome. Have you tried squatting low bar? Based on that vid I reckon you would nudge 210 - 220kg with a low bar IMO. Although looked like you had to get on your toes to get out of the rack.

Nice work, keep it up

Best Bench, Tonka, and Humphrey (if ur on Powerhouse) are the men you want to be talking to.

Humphrey was benching 220 a few years back, he just nailed a 280 at World bench for the 125 Australian & Oceania record and 6th place at the Worlds.
