The "I got kicked out of my gym" competition

Photos/videos of people's improvised training out on the street.

BigKiwi, who needs Les Mills, we'd love to see you overhead pressing a park bench with a couple of old ladies sitting on it.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have our first winner. I'm not sure whether this was a real suggestion or a tongue-in-cheek one, but either way I like it. It works for anyone training at any strength level, and there's scope for fun and creativity as well. A great combination!

Recent Addict, you've just won $100 worth of supplements, courtesy of the nice guys at Shotgun. I'll PM you with the details.

So that's one down, three more prizes to go. Keep thinking, people!

-the "I'm a member of NZBB" competition.

A picture of you holding a piece of paper that says "I'm on NZBB". The person with the picture in the most random place wins.

i'm sure we would get some interesting pics!

- the "design a poster" competition

The person with the best poster design promoting NZBB wins- could be put up in gyms as a way of promoting the site

-the "random posing" competition

A picture of you doing a bodybuilding pose in a random place where you wouldn't expect to find bodybuilders. Funniest/most creative pic wins

Incorporates posing practice as well as a bit of humour

-"best recipe"

Could be a shake, cookies, pasta etc. Anything that has a bit of protein in it. I remember a while back that someone posted a recipe for a tuna shake!

Judged on -price (the lower the price, the better!)

-originality

- nutritional content

Would be helpful to get a few new recipe ideas as I'm sure I'm not the only one that gets sick of eating the same food over and over again!

The "Most potent protein fart" Competition. For every person that has to leave the room you get 1 point, if they gag that's 2 points and if you make someone yack 8 points. Bonus points for special locations like the bank, at the movies, in fastfood joints etc.

The "Invent an exercise/exercise machine competition" Can be plausible or completely impossible as long as it's interesting. Examples include gravity chambers, weighted clothing, spring suits to provide added resistance during every day movements. Machines which might use magnetism or something like that to provide resistance.

Or a competition where we invent supplement names and then in a few lines describe them using as many hype words as possible. Like super ethyl ester proton matrix to provide supra physiological acetylcholine levels in type 2a and 2b muscle fibers to increase force output by 1108% over placebo.

The "That guy" competition. See what kind of reactions you get from supermarket employees when you walk upto the counter with a trolly filled with all the tuna they had on the shelves. Then claim you forgot your wallet and never go back.

Best slang word used for the month my vote to OLDFELLA for this one......

For me, some of the reasons bans and law changes are brought about is because all the dumbarses, dipshits and fucktards take things too far. If you're gonna use gear, be sensible and mature about it. Don't go telling all your mates to show off, or go past recommended doses to try and speed up the growth process. Take advice and retain knowledge from those that know.

FUCKTARDS :pfft: A clear mixture of fuckwit and retard :pfft:

What about a comp for the funniest/randomist/embbarassing bb pose, i.e. you randomly strike a pose at work or a uni lecture and the likes and get a shot/vid.

Bonus point if you wear a speedo etc or Tan!

^ We have Winner #2!

My inner nerd is busily thinking about ways we could calulate the best poser. Something along the lines of:

Fake Tan Factor + (Audience Size x Exhibitionist Level of Posing ÷ Clothing Coverage Area)

Or maybe we just vote. :P

Knock knock, there's a PM on it's way with a $100 supplement voucher from Shotgun. Still two more vouchers to go though, so keep the ideas coming!

Best bodybuilding slogan/clothing ideas competition. Vote on the best ideas the ones with the most votes could get printed.

Things like:

"Life is better with TEST"

"Picture of large man Arnold would be best with a drumstick photo shopped into his hand with quotations saying" "Remember when I said I'd eat you last? I lied"

Most innovative/humorous replacement for weights and bars

Pictures or videos of you performing any exercise with something other than weights. Curls, bench, deadlift, squats, anything really. Could be good for some interesting placement of interesting items for weighted push ups, dips and pull ups too. e.g having a child monkey grip you whilst doing pull ups.

Could use people, animals, inanimate objects etc, Absolutely anything.

Hmm I suppose it is quite similar, wasn't necessarily meaning out of the gym though. Mods can delete the post if they feel it is too similar.
