Hey guys,

just wondering if anyone knows where in dunedin i could obtain chains from for free or cheaper than buying them new, or where is a good place to ask?

If you want the big boys, 5/8" or bigger, you're not going to find many places besides marine supply shops carrying them.

I have no idea what kind of market there is for that sort of thing in Dunedin, but that's the best place to start.

Try workshops, freezing works, the port etc

Someone's sure to have some old rusty ones! Alternately try ringing the scrap metal merchants?
