No this won't be at Eastside, we are going on the road to Greymouth. Will hopefully unearth some talent on the Coast.

But there are a couple of comps coming up at Eastside in next couple of months to look forward too. Canterbury 3 lift Champs on 24 April, Doc Squat and Mike Z will be lifting so should be a good show. Also looking forward to seeing John Warren doing some deadlifts.

Bench and Deadlift comp on 21 May. Talking to Terry Pierson who wants to line up a Criton Cobbers v Eastside deadlift side comp, could be interesting if it eventuates.

I don't think there are any plans to run a novice section at the moment but I will see if the powers that be could add one in. I think this will definitely be something that will be an option going forward. The Eastside Comp in May would be a good starting point for any new lifters.

Looks like we have managed to get a novice division included in the Canterbury champs on 24 April. Once I have more details I will add comp to the NZBB calendar and include info for novice competitors.
