Bit of a jump to next DB's which are about 65's?! Have tried once but at the time they were big & ugly & not much fun! Soon tho.... tell em Nate's coming for them brah! :pfft: :grin:

Yep, for a few hard reps. It's on. lol I'll never get there though, I don't even have a training partner to help out like you fellas do... I scare them all away with my intensity. :)

I've been up to 50s before but it becomes difficult from there on getting into position. Imaging having to clean 65s and then press them. I don't think I could flick em up with my knees like I do with the weights I'm currently working with... no matter how strong I get. I'd probably clean the 65s then fall over backwards while I try to find the seat. Hahaha

Going to change programme around a bit to lay off the bicep tendons & forearm injury - doing them the day after back (and 3rd day training in a row) isn't doing them any favours! Also want to hit hammies more so splitting them from quads.

Probly go with:

Mon: AM Cardio PM Chest / Tris / Abs

Tues: Quads / bis / Calves

Weds: AM Cardio PM Off

Thurs: Delts / Tri

Fri: AM Cardio PM Back

Sat: Hams / Calves / Abs

Sun: Off

Thoughts?

Looks to be a good routine to me, Muscle groups nicely grouped throughout the week to avoid overlap.

Just going through the motions a little at present, holding bodyweight at 110-111 level for a while before I try to push through to 115.

Trainingwise I did a good back session at Les Mills City last Friday (saw some freakin tall Argentinian Rugby boys and stole a few exercises from their core routine).

Saturday morning I did some Hammies & Calves at Les Mills Takapuna (and saw some pretty average chest & bicep work from four of the AB's!! I expected more than some light BBer type training from them??!!). I was quietly impressed with my stiff leg deads at 180, the ladies seemed more interested in Richard Kahui & co!

Got some motivation watching Soundsgood & Mark Reed on stage Sat night. Bar is set pretty high in the opens now! :nod:

Mon - chest & tri's - heavy incline DB's, 10-15 rep benches etc

Tues did some squats at Aspyre, 260x3, then leg press 10's up to 480 then a couple of lighter 15's. Got there late so clean up biceps & calves today.

Not much else to tell really... :pfft:
