a few beers (negligible carbs):

Just in case, you know that there a 7 cals per ml of alcohol right?

An average beer has approx. 100 to 150 cals most of that from the alcohol rather than the sugars.

TRAVERSE Low Carb Lager:

Per 330mL Serve:

-1g protein

-3g total carb

I think most beers are around 7g carb per serve? They don't list the cals on the bottle so I'll take your word for it. Either way I only had about 4-5 during the day.

Yea I agree, a few beers isn't going to be the end of the world. Especially when your diet is as controlled as yours is.

This site is useful if your interested. 1 cal ~ 4.2kj. All measurements are per 100ml.

Workload sounds intense... What papers are you taking and how many points does it add up to be this semester?

I'm actually only doing three papers this semester - Electronics, Quantum & Thermal Physics and Calculus. Next semester - Matrix Algebra & Applications, Electromagnetism & Optics and Experimental Physics I. Not sure on the points but it qualifies as a full time course.

The problem is the Level 100 Otago pre-requisite courses for my papers are quite different to the Engineering papers we did. When I cross-credited I just told them I could do all that shit and they approved my course without looking in to it too much. Now I'm doing three Level 200 papers and having to learn most of the material from scratch. Every week I have a 4hr lab + report due, a 2hr workshop + test and three assignments (one in each paper) due. It would be do-able if I kept on top of the reading and lectures but there always seems to be something more fun to do at home.

Bit more than you asked for - guess I had a lot to get off my chest :pfft:

You said you've sorted your shit out? Has that gone pear shaped or have you kept on top of things? It's Comp Sci aye, so it would take you this and next year to finish it?

Oh real, I was wondering why it seemed you were doing so much work lol. Still, eating > studying - you need to learn that hah. Yeah mate, it's going good aye, been getting A's in assignments and feel on top of everything. The material is quite hard though and I'm almost waiting for it to all collapse under me, just can't slack off! Should be done by the end of next year, but post-grad seems like it may be a good way to start a career. Plenty of time to think about it though.

Like your thoughts on aggression...channeled in the right direction of course. Plenty of PL have all sorts of "attack the bar" routines they go through pre lift...Chad Aichs with his roars  , headbutts, face slaps, yells, bar butts ...its all on. Certainly helps 8)
