psudo what a ladies man you are!

carma I am glad your gym is full of out of shape people it is where they/we should be. When I first went looking for a gym to go to a few I checked out just had big fit muscle types at and the feeling I got training there was that I should be somewhere else and I was getting in the way. There was also a lot of posing and self admiration going on.

A gym with a lot of people trying and working hard is a good gym

Haha I'd say, looks like he started the site as a front end for meeting fit women, we're on to you!

If you going to put up your weight, what's your height in cm?

/Question - Why are we all editing out our faces? Are we that paranoid that we're going to end up as cover models for gay porn sites or is there another reason?

You guys are making me blush...

(But really Bleat - I think they're just trying to suck up to the Admin!)

I'm 182cm (6 foot exactly) and bouncing around between 88-89kg.

As for the editing out of faces - it's not common (I think) but sadly yes, it has happened that people's pics were turning up on porn sites. I would imagine we're a small enough board that it's not ever going to be a problem here - it was mostly on the larger ones like bodybuilding.com, I believe. We've taken precautions like making the Post your Pics forum a registered-members-only forum, and that kind of thing. But people may still prefer to block their face - and that's fine.

Also, some of our members may be contemplating a steroids cycle - so they probably wouldn't want their faces shown - and that's fine.

Finally - it's not uncommon to make hideous faces while posing, so some people may simply want to avoid the embarassment of looking like a constipated loony - and of course that's fine too.

start a before and after thread? not a bad idea

i made a "before" thread, and since the after pics change over time.. i think the best way to go is to have ppl post their after pics in sperate theads when they jut post pics as per normal

Now why'd you have to go and resurrect this topic, Big_J? I was quite happy letting it sink to the bottom of the forum... :P

You're right though. It's long past time I took another set of photos. Don't expect to see any significant changes though. For a good 18 months of the 2 years that it's been, I dropped back down to 80kg. Some of that loss was fat, but there was a fair bit of muscle dropped as well. (See children, that's what happens if you don't eat enough!)

I'm back up at 86kg now, and hopefully leaner than I was in my last set of pics. I'll see if I can take some photos over the next few days.
