Weighed in at 105.6 at the gym with a light breakfast no shoes this morning. Been on a long low carb run and Ive cut water out until tommorow. On track to make weight.

Gym sesh this morning

depleted and dehydrated hit a pb before a comp haha if your feeling good might as well make the most of it. CBC lift tommorow, goal is to smash all of my lifts and have a shit load of fun!

Squats were pleasantly good. Arse to grass slow through the middle than snap of the hips to lock out. Maybe had another 5 or so in me.

Bench was a suprise, havent had very many good bench sessions with the shoulders and elbows playing up. Pretty much on the dot here possibly could of hit 125. Losing 7kgs in 6 weeks probablly had something to do with it.

Deads

These were the make or breaks, I knew I only had one big pull in me. Warmups felt tough but once that bar was loaded it was lights out. Lost balance with 180 but kept it in check. 200 flew up, fastest Ive ever hit. 205 managed to keep the tech in check got it to the knees then snapped the hips through to a PB (overall and at this BW)

all lifts 9/9 nothing but whites!

What an awesome day. SFS beat me by 5kg we were neck and neck the whole day good to see the bro smashing PBs 8) The day ran smoothly except for a slight hicup on tonkas hyuuuge 370 squat and some dodgy loading on Nick and wookies 545kg deadlift :pfft: . Best comp Ive done period besides 09 BBro I think the APA could learn a thing or two from this (would of been good to have seen someone from the APA down to support) The quality of lifting was awesome some strong guys came out to play. Thanks to SFS for pushing me, and good to catch up with all the boys Big J, Steak, Opti, Panzar, Traps, Red, VP, Laver, Tonka and meeting Train hard and PnW awesome first comps :)

Ill do a full write up of the day in another thread so many things to go through. Got some good footage so will try and upload and make a big j style vid compilation.

Cheers lads 8) As I said it feels good to be back to where I was before the back fucked however I havent made any real progress for over 12 months :roll:

All roads now lead to the inaugural classic cup 10 weeks to get my raw total respectable.

did some rotators, rear delts and abs.

Front squats felt good, 130 got about 1/4 the way up then just dropped it haha. Im hoping the fronts are going to help dead fly up, wana beast past that 500lb mark. Will probably do some bench and powercleans tommorow but nothings set in stone.

Good lifting there mate...those squats were sooooo deep...I thought you were gonna touch the floor :grin: You got heaps of potential..go for it!!

Awesome workout today. Been watching alot of Misha Koklayev so did some stuff I wouldnt normally do. Benching was good strong tris = strong bench. The jedi squats at the end were good fun, I will be going heavier in the future when I become more in tune with the force :grin: :lol:

1 arm db clean and press did 3 singles on right 2 on the left.

Getting the boys into regular training again, got some vids of our top push press sets, still trying to get them into squating haha. Squats today were good, 140 wasnt too pretty easy off the bottom stalls mid way then kapwowed it into lockout. Need to keep chest up and not turn it into a GM. I think my core needs work as my low back and hip thrusters want to take over. Vids to come later on.

me and my part time tps have been having a good time in the gym this week. We usually do a main exercise as a crew then bugger off and do our own thing. Funny how they wait till aaaafter Ive finished squats :pfft:

Anywho now that Ive discovered movie maker Ill be posting a load of videos up more for my viewing pleasure but itll be good to see how much I progress from week to week.

All done in 40 minutes. Deads were snappy in true kapwow fashion, I am dedicated to smashing a huge dead by years end. One day speed pulls, one day deadzones and third day heavy overload, anything and everything to get that 250+ dead I know Im capable of. Inclines got better the more sets I did kept the rest to 1 minute or less then just went at it. Back to some front squattage tommorow.

Also forgot to mention that Im in my 3rd day of a keto run. Diets been based around 1.2kg chicken thighs or 900g beef per day with 3 to 4 50g whey/flax fibre shakes a day. Dont know what the end macros are but im sure its less than 30g of carbs per day. Ill get some keto sticks and test on monday.

Less than 12 hour turnaround and no food in me probably showed in this mornings session. Front squats werent bad a little slowish on the top set so cut it there, flexibility is getting better. Push presses were a bit hit and miss, just need to remember to keep the dip short and drive right through. Was not leaving the gym without hitting the 2 plates, resorted to the PB track and smashed it. Only to be used in dire situations.
