shoulders couldnt take it so left it there.

Squats where fast in the sets of 120 took a while to find my groove but once I warmed up proper thunderbirds were go cant wait to test it out next wed may try out the 180. Bench finding a suitable groove still pausing all reps hoping for good carryover. Sleeps been real s#*t got 13hours last night none of it good still drained and tired as heck today.

yea bro Im glad to be getting into the heavier doubles, the plan with sheiko is it builds volume up in the first 2 weeks the the 3rd week is higher volume fourth week higher intensity. Comp phase starts next week which has more high intensity stuff plus ill be using belt and knee wraps for squat so my numbers will be a lil less pathetic..

Ill focus on getting to 120kg first, then 135 for a xmas pressie :grin:

Hardest workout yet. Deads real grinds reset fully after each rep doing lil cluster sets. Ill bump up the weight on gms and take the stance out, hopefully rectify the situation if I dont pull 4pps next week ill be pissed :evil:

Mucked around with wider hand spacing on squat. Helped me keep more up right will use this from now on. Well after this 4weeks I can say Ive been converted I cant tink of training any other way. Sheiko 32 starts monday light session then teh skills on wednesday(yesssssss!) goals are to squat 170-180(5-15kgpb) bp 105 and deadlift 170-180. Bring it on baby!

Thanks bro, Its mean fun, got so much fn doms its not funny! I love powerlifting but its a tad one dimensional. Lifting a log overhead or picking up a heavy ass stone off the ground seems more appealing to me. Should come give the north shore one a jam be good fun :nod:

Thanks Ms BB definetley showed that I need to get way stronger to even complete the events. Yup the Aut strongman and woman are on the same day iirc :nod:

Squats

Fast out of the hole, stalled a bit near the top. Weights felt a lil heavy not as stable as I have been will fix this with a proper pl belt not wan a the oly ones. 170 was a bit hard didnt have 180in me but a pb is a pb

Bench

Felt a little off colour to start with 100 was pretty easy. Chucked 10 extra on for a 5kg paused pb. Came off the chest good slowed down a lockout but got it. Going to add some heavy lockouts to help.

Deadlift

Not happy with dls at the moment. Everything was tough from the get go. Pulled 175 real slow and ugly. Sam called me out for the 180. I just about walked out the gym but I wasnt goona let him get one up on me so I ripped it and slowly but surely it came up. Need to work on getting my hips low enough without sacrificing levearage. I predict aucklands will be 180/115/195

Good Work TT, deads sometimes get like this at Skills, but 3 weeks later they come right.

Edit:

The Strongman Comp may have impacted especially the stone just read it.

Hey OB my thoughts exactly about the strongman comp, tried to do the events that wouldnt affect my training but get a bit carried away sometimes :roll:

re the deads...i felt like arse all the way through and was dreading pulling 220+ but could have pulled 240 if Id set my opener right but was happy with 230. they will come...trust :nod: you will fell like there aint enough work going in but try not to do any moire ...a lesson i learnt and it will come good 8)
