Got my GF to take a pic of me for the start of my journal to have something to measure myself against. I also weighed myself and I was 90.5kg :D must have put on more weight than I thought these hols...

Picture quality is really poor but it's better than nothing. Will post another pic when I hit 100kg 8)

yea good to see another journal up. 5 days a week is a lot.. are you planning on doing a training split routine or start off with a full body workout? i would strongly recommend starting on a full body workout doing the staple compound lifts- deadlifts, squats, bench press and rows

Yeah I've had a look at a few programs online, like 5x5 etc on bodybuilding.com and the emphasis on just using the big compound lifts but I want to get big first and then focus on strength. I scanned through a ton of journals on here trying to find one that has a simple hypertrophy program layed out. This one here I thought looked good? viewtopic.php?f=8&t=6246&start=20 Hes a similar weight to me and layed it out easy for me to follow? It's got the big lifts in there...I'll try it and if it doesn't work for me I will just do one of the straight forward programs like 5x5 :)

you've made a mistake already, a mistake that i made and many others make. you want to get strong before you get big. you need to read Pman's articles. besides, ur going to get big if you're getting stronger- it's logical

Good to see another journal from someone down south.

About the strength and size, i've noticed that i only started bigger as i got stronger. esp for lean mass gains.

If you eating cream buns everyday though that's a different story.

Focusing on technique first is a good way to insure yourself over injuries.

Hey man good luck with ur goals. Do you know rose? She trains in a sewer I thought your underground place might somehow be connected via secret tunnels or something.

Ah yes the Troll kingdom have close relations with the Sewer Rat tribe. I think Rose must be one of the Sewer Rat grunts, I haven't heard of her before...
